Bulletproof Billiards Cue Raffle, benefiting St. Judes Childrens Hospital.

Hello AZB'ers,
Thanks to the generosity of @Bulletproof Billiards we will be raffling off one of their AR15 full carbon playing cues. ALL proceeds from this raffle will be donated to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.

The cue specs, tip diameter, tip type, etc, can be discussed between the good folks at Bulletproof and the lucky winner. Mike @azhousepro will be handling the spot payments, and @FairladyZ will track/update the list in this thread. If you want a spot, but someone else has requested that number in an earlier post, you will simply have to select a different spot, and it will be awarded if it is available.

Once the list is full, and all payments are received, we will choose a Powerball drawing, and the winning Powerball number that corresponds with the relevant number on the list in this thread, will win the cue. The cue will ship to the winner, directly from Bulletproof Billiards.

Once the winner has been determined, we (staff) will create a PM involving the winner, and Bulletproof Billiards. That PM will be generated for the purpose of information exchange, shipping address, etc.

PayPal payment/s for your spot/s can be sent to: housepro@azbilliards.com

Please do not send payment, until your spot has been confirmed on this list. When it's time to send your payment, please include your AZB username and your spot number with your payment to Mike.

I want to close this off by saying thank you to Mike @azhousepro for allowing it, @FairladyZ for tracking/updating the list, and a HUGE thank you to @Bulletproof Billiards ...Their heartfelt generosity to such a worthy cause is yet another testament to human decency, and another reason to be proud of our AZB community. Please offer a shout out to all of these folks.
Thank you sincerely

Question for mechanics

Yea you are probably right about that. I guess consensus is send them back to jack if im looking for the table to play 100 percent. After 500 dollar cushions and new 860hr I guess its not time to cheap out and get a mechanic who says close enough is good enough. Its extremely hard to find a mechanic in this area that is not only a mechanic but a player who understands the nuances of how a table plays and very few are on the level of RKC or jack.
I ended up doing all my table work because all our local hacks are just that, hacks. Even the people that installed my diamond were hacks. I'm not overly picky but I know what perfect is, I expect 95% of that from an installer or I'm doing it myself. It's worth paying good mechanics such as Jack because it's not an easy job and detail oriented/nitpicky installers are tough to find. If you're in a large area it pays to check references and such, but if you're in a pool desert like many players you just can't find a good mechanic locally.

Pagulyan Carbon Fiber shaft?

Anyone at the Derby hit with Alex's new carbonfiber shaft? In his booth for people to hit with it. Would love to hear feedback since its $800.00?
I just saw the video on YouTube. I mean, I cant knock it, the taper is interesting, but the price ain't. I am not a fan of carbon fiber shafts. They perform fine, but the "ping", its a preference. 800 dollars? Lmao. No. We used to buy custom cues for 800 and it was a HUGE expense
