My thoughts exactly...A persons post count on an Internet forum indicates how long they have been playing pool?![]()
Well, it was a pretty stupid question to ask considering I opened the thread and therefore would the one who cares..?Dude....if you're not interested in my question, then simply ignore it.

It's not a piss poor model for making themselves money if there's clueless newbs and fanboys to shell out for them. Business is what they do well. Love for the growth of the game is something they do good at feigning. How many of these cues are they making to be selling out of them on the first day? Then it takes months for a restock if at all. This is a piss poor business model this is losing sales to me.
Samoans account for 0.08 percentage of the US population.I’ve noticed a shortage of Samoan and players from the Amazon jungle.
Call for an investigation.
No thanks, looks horrible.Predator cue home page right NOW. You got to be quick though!

If thats a perfect answer to you, I dont want to see the imperfect ones...Perfect answer.
Outside of a cultural anthropologist, maybe a marketing or advertising person, I am not sure why it would matter much to most. Maybe a "black studies" professor...
I would ask if anybody here spends much of any time thinking about it. If so, why?
Interesting to note that pool is very accessible to the general public, but it seems most tables outside pool halls are in bars. My old university had a great pool hall filled with Gold Crowns. They took it out.
Do recreation centers still have pool halls? Our local bowling alley has a couple tables, but they are crap.
Demographics and pool is interesting, but who sits around thinking about it unless it's their job?
Blacks account fot 14% of the US population.Going Pro takes a personality/drive to accept a million misses, much less Hitting a Million Balls.
Just like the female question, its a numbers game maybe a money game. Don't exactly know the population percentages of White vs Black but believe that Black folks in the US are still a minority.
Then there's always the money thing. No matter if you're white black or green, you need cash to compete in Pro Tournaments.
Well, my experience is very limited My current break cue is a McDermott Birdseye Maple butt with a McDermott break shaft with a phenolic tip/ferule. I have a reasonably good break normally but last week I was struggling. I had 6 breaks in a row dry. I realized the ferule was loose and asked a friend if I could use her break cue, a BK Rush. I had three breaks and made two balls twice and three on the other. The difference in hi and the spread of the balls was apparent right away. I've been playing for a long time and I've never had breaks like that, and it just felt different. I purchased the McDermott because it was not expensive and I wanted to have a cue to play with that wasn't my playing cue. After this experience I decided a good break cue was in order. I've borrowed some other break cues but none were like this for me. Others may be just a good, but I believe many pros play with the BK Rush break cues and I figured I would try one. I figure if I don't like it I can resell it because they sell for more second hand than new.
Just out of curiosity, what makes the BK Rush more desirable than other break cues from reputable brands? I'm not asking to be a smartass. I'm genuinely curious as to what the draw is to these specific break cues.
