Filler at The Derby 2/1/2026 Just won against Shane 9 B 9-0

if tournaments are nothing but a test to see who is the best. that is already easy to surmise.

but if they are a game to be played where most have a chance of winning or at least getting very close then they become a sport.
which can be played by many, who now have some chances. and interest grows. as well as excitement.
rather than a mostly foregone conclusion.
Yes, and pool, having produced four different players-of-the year in four years (FSR 2022, Filler 2023, Gorst 2024, Yapp 2025) is a sport based on your criteria.

that makes zero sense. ice hockey wasn't a sport when the soviet union dominated? golf wasn't a sport in the tiger woods era, olympic wrestling wasn't a sport in the karelin years..

I'm not really a religious follower of the game as you are, how would you rate Filler as an all-around player?
He is in the discussion for best all-around, but Gorst, with three of the last five DCC Master of the Table awards, must still be reckoned best.

That said, Josh wins the big ones in every discipline, as Skogstokig noted in Post #27.
