So this isn't ground breaking info, but as pockets tighten it becomes more important to actually know the pocket aperture from where the OB is coming from. Ones that went on a 5" Valley or a 4 1/2" "pro cut" pocket simply rattle on 4 1/4" and under.

With this knowledge some of the "close enough" systems start showing their breaking points. It's kind of how like on some diamond systems work great over a majority of a table but once out on the fringes and past they start breaking down and require different spin and such.

Another thing to keep in mind, if you get absolutely used to tight pockets, remember at league on a bar box, there's a lot more leeway. Knowing how accepting a pocket is can be super important. Nothing is worse than thinking you set up a decent safety and seeing your opponent's ball go in after hitting the rail 2 1/2 diamonds up.

shot you use in one pocket often. when you cant cut your ball into your pocket near the rail so you just double bank it. they are relatively easy after you learn how they flatten out.

they are nice as you can hit them harder so play better position off the shot.

Onshape does a good job for this natively. In Fusion, I have to program new threads because I never liked the coil. But, when dovetailed with the canvas image, the programmed threads in Fusion do a great job.

Jacoby's Element cue is laminated in the butt and in Jacoby's Ultra wood shafts. Colored laminated sheets are used in the butt but not in the standard Ultra wood shaft. Jacoby makes a few shafts, however, that look like the multi-colored butt. They aren't on the Jacoby website. This shaft is described by the owner on Reddit

I did this for my jump butt. Now my extension rides in the main pocket. I had to make a bumper for the butt, but it works perfectly.

For my Propel, I made the extension ride on the top [screw into the extension bumper]. That also worked well.
