I just checked the Titleist chalk and you have to be kidding me…..Pink?
GTF outta here…..pink……I have 3 daughters and breast cancer awareness
is very important to me…….but in a pool chalk, the color pink really sucks.

I’d never buy or use it just because of the awful color….Pagulayan & TAOM
will remain #1 until something better comes along and it sure isn’t Titleist chalk.

I found my V10 doesn’t stick well on my phenolic tip. Plain ol’ Masters for my break and jump cues works better.

Anyone recall years ago when the Russian MC chalk was the rave and nowadays, I never see it used by any players.
I still see Blue Diamond occasionally but it seems mostly used is TAOM, Predator, Kamui, and Master Chalk. if I owned
a pool room, I’d ban all red color chalk and the pasty Kamui chalk that needlessly deposits & discolors the pool cloth.

Hey all. I recently bought a couple of cues and whenever I get a new to me cue, I check the weight and balance point. I do this using a straightness checker on a smaller scale that I have. I am not claiming scientific accuracy, but here is what I noticed. When weighing butt only of cue 1(similar result with cue 2 as well), the balance point seems to be about 2.5-3 inches below the A-joint (correct me if I am wrong, where the handle and forearm meet). That would seem that the cue(butt) is center weighted, but once a shaft is added, the balance point seems to shift to about 2.5 inches forward of the A-joint. Is this planned and executed when building a cue or ?

Reminds me of the burn marks behind the line when we would break from the same spot. Our room owner had 6-8” squares of cloth and we had to use them for breaks when he put new cloth on.

Do you guys remember the video from a few years ago where the guy chalked up and stood up probably 20 times or more on each shot? I forget who it was but it was almost some kind of OCD thing. He played alright but I could never stand to play that guy.

It's more then likely a racking and a breaking problem.

Video of like 20 of your breaks would be insanely helpful. 10 racks hand racked and 10 racks template racked.

Me too, when it's been awhile since I played regularly, I like like to tune up with Bert's Drills. The Mighty-X, 6 Point Star, The Ladder.... Great Drills, to get "back in touch ..."

I have been for 20+ years. But no matter what I do, 90% of the time or more I don't have any luck.
