Have you heard about Titlist chalk (by Dr. V's Custom Shop) before SVB's recent announcement?

You've probably incorporated it into your pre-shot routine subconsciously, or consciously. Chalking is not part of my pre-shot routine. I don't keep track of how many shots I take without chalking, I just do it when I feel necessary.
That explains why you're the house pro in your house with no table, you have no table and therefore don't need to chalk. Something tells me that will change when you have an actual cue in your hand.
