Sold Shelby Williams Stunner!

To all interested parties - I shipped Worminator $1,000 to complete a trade deal with him for this Shelby back in February - if at one point he was an honest cue dealer, it doesn't seem that he is any longer. I have evidence of our correspondence for anyone interested.

Dave, how did you communicate with Worminator? Was it through private message here, or did someone contact you outside of the site and claim to be Worminator?

Cuetec Fires Strickland

I have a Earl Strickland Cuetec cue the shaft has a crack in it that runs from the joint to the ferrule and as long as you shoot with a open bridge it still hits a ball rather well !

As you can see , I've met Earl once and thought he was a interesting fella ! He's had so.e ups and downs who hasn't ?

I always like Earl and his temper. I think I always considered him like the John McEnroe of the pool world - used to love when McEnroe had his moments. He's human and it's good to see that side......sometimes.

Playing Pool after 50?

As far as I am aware it illegal to carry where alcohol is served. I also believe there was a thread on this very forum about a shooting in a pool hall right here in America. Are the following enough for now or do you require more? This is much more effort than I was planning to put into a tongue in cheek comment.

It's state specific

Break Stats -- 2026 World 8-Ball Championship, April 2026

Great work as always. And thank you for compiling this.

If I'm reading it right, seems to me that being the first player to make a ball was worth 68 or 65% to win the game. Little lower than most of us would assume! Everyone always talking about how easy the game is for the pros they never miss and always run out etc etc. Not so fast...

I wish there were more 8 ball events. Always fun to watch(and play) imo
I know it doesn't seem to be the popular opinion, but 8-ball is my favorite game to do commentary. And I know it sounds bold, but top amateur players know better how to play 8-ball better than the pros. The pros execute so well that clear mistake in pattern play and percentage play are masked. If amateur players tried some of weird patterns these pros do, they'd never get there. I guess I"m saying that professional 8-ball tournaments deserve better commentary to make the whole experience better.
