I have found at least one CF shaft that I finally like. The Kielwood shaft that I had was definitely stiffer than standard maple, but I don't know that I would say that the "hit" felt better than standard maple. I didn't think I would transition to CF, but I finally have.

15-19 with a white/any color speck wrap would be nice.
Your only response should have been, "Yes Dear."So tonight at dinner I mention to Gail that I was thinking about switching from my John Davis PDF blank conversion, mit ivory joint, to my Shelby, which I have given a several month respite.
And Gail looks at me from across the dinner table with dead eyes -- you know, the kind of eyes you'll sometimes see at a poker table when your two pair have been called by trips -- and she says, I quote: " What is your problem? You have two Gina cues -- the quintessential pool cue. Why haven't you been playing with those?"
Words fail.

Hopefully he picks out a nice piece of wood.
I love the kielwood hit and stiffness.
Tried carbon fiber but couldn't get used to the feel of it. It felt alien.
