Well I'm north of RidgeRaider a bit, yesterday we didn't get above zero all day, today starting out a little worse, 18 below, Friday Saturday predictions, 25-30 below and that isn't windchill. I have 250 yds of driveway, solid ice underneath from a warming stretch a couple weeks back. Had to plow yesterday and as it was below zero I plugged the tractor in. Fired right up, but I had put a new and bigger battery in, and use 5-40 synthetic oil. I did go back in the house for a bit first to let the cab warm up. It's beautiful in the winter by me, but I could do without this extreme cold, even my dog doesn't like this cold and has to get his booties on to go out.
I'll probably go out in my shop today to do some woodturning as there is infloor heat, it is so nice. Stay safe everyone, weather comes and goes, but by me it looks as though the cold is hanging around for awhile.

I had the pleasure of watching Efren force a different M O for 9 ball players. He showed Billiard skills that combined with cueball precision achieved by none on the tour at that time. I so enjoyed watching him playing Earl in the Reno Sands 9 ball. Efren broke and ran three or four. Then first shot after the break he played a safety that left the one ball and cue ball on opposite end rails AND no path to get a hit. Taking ball in hand Efren does it again! At 7-0 Earl gets his second shot.....and it's just as ugly as his first. Earls exhibition er uh histrionics brought encouragement from the gallery. "Break it " was the suggestion. "Break your cue" , got giggles. Efren got the trophy.

Doubt you’re going to get a response. Alton finished a set of caps for me in early 2021 at a time he was moving away from doing caps and, most especially, the rude, keyboard cowboy influx that had come to pervade the online world.
His Mother was doing poorly, and he went kinda radio silent not long after. I wish the best for my friend to this day.
For what it’s worth… These caps don’t look like anything Alton would have done.

Okay, just recalling John Higgins in interview, saying that he feels like he is playing better than ever. Me too but the numbers say that I am uh not. Well there are 3 kinda lies.
