There was a time when I was missing 8 balls, yet I wasn't feeling pressure. ShrugThe eight ball doesn't know it's the eight ball,
Don't disagree at all - agree with everything you said - I guess my point was more along the lines of we need to take our preparation for the event (in general) much more seriously rather than have the US team show up and pick up what looks like a participation trophy most years. It's a little disheartening getting crushed consistently.shane has that rasson table at home, it's been his sponsor for many years. the rest have all played on rassons too. fedor won the WC on a rasson. it wasn't the table.. they made poor decisions, played poor positions and dogged it under pressure
Hey...maybe the Predator extension will interchange. It's a whooshoern. 7 or 8 hundred if predator made one.
It was just refinished... apologize!I don't see any sign of chalk use. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I use it to get out of tight spots...... but thanks for staying on track here.I should have made some pun about shoe horning the rules or something…
Well I did not think that ivory on a 1920s cue would be banned- is there not a pre- ban period for items- or, in certain states, is any ivory considered banned from commerce? The thing to remember is you and the seller of the Brunswick cue must reside in states with no ivory ban.
You can’t trade in ivory period when the seller or buyer reside in a state with any ivory ban, even as barter.
But you can go the route that so many do and play catch me if you can. That’s entirely up to you what to do.
Europe played better on tougher equipment - it's not rocket science. Get the team together a couple of weeks in advance on the same type/style of table that they're going to be playing on and practice. Learn each others tendencies and how each person likes to play position and why, communicate, have meals together, bond, build an actual "team" but most of all practice and adjust to the table and the conditions. Every one on our team this year is capable of beating anyone on the Europe team in a short race - they just weren't prepared and couldn't fade the table and the conditions.
BTW, I said short race - I 100% acknowledge that with the exception of SVB and Fedor, we don't win any longer races - but this format gives us a shot if we're ready to do the work beforehand.
I'm shocked that Guama didn't insist on some type of spot. In a race to 50 on that table ...Guama has no path to victory.
I think Oscar would paddle a canoe to Australia to get this game.
Did you follow the story of them being sold off to a private equity firm and later being sold to Escalade? I think the current owners see the value of advertising. Is Brunswick still part of the billiard community? I get that they make tables, but you just don’t hear anything about them anymore. I don’t see them sponsoring any pool events or pool players like they used to. I don’t see any of their tables in any pools rooms other than older ones from decades ago.
