3/8-10 pin install with pilot.

Thank you all for this thread. Based on my old discussions with John Wright, I had always thought that 5/16x14 inserts did fit snugly. Way back, I ordered a Mottey with a white joint. When discussing the cue, John went into a lecture about how Gina cues built a support ring inside the recess so they wouldnt crack. Lesson learned. Learn something new every day. Thanks again!

Fargo Rate - Not Much Math Here

I competed in my first Fargo rated tournament (650 and under), and I have never had a Fargo number. After the tournament my first Fargo came out as a 700. For an average leaugue player I thought this was excessive. I checked with Fargo and they said it's simple math. Games won %. 70% makes me a 700. I thought Fargo looked at the other Fargo players numbers and did math to create an actual number. By this method...if a brand new 600 level player plays only against Fargo 200s, that players Fargo would probably be a 900 to start! The opposite is true too. If you always played players better than you...a 600 player would be a 200. What am I missing? This means there are 1000s of WAY under rated Fargo players. Just venting.
Forget the gibberish. Forget about Jessica...

They Fargo guy may not have explained it correctly but you are indeed a 700.

Unless you feel like you played better or worse than normal, which you didn't share with us.

The best non-pro player ever?

Jay, that one pocket.match with James Walden for 100k I believe lasted four days

How about that four day one pocket match with James Walden for 100k I believe as an example of the skill and endurance Cooney had to take it down? Walden was another 'non pro" player who didn't play tournaments and played at a high level gambling.
Toby F. and Jack played a big match in Vegas. I still remember one shot that was incredible, a double bank making one ball and lagging the other next to his pocket.
