For sweaty palms, which cue wrap style?

For those of us who get overly sweaty palms, especially the grip hand ...this can be a serious matter that needs attention. Sure when in practicing most of us don't sweat it and can shoot with anything, BUT soon as you're in a pressure match situation, we'll that's when for some of us this really becomes an issue.
I have a wrapless... can shoot great with it in practice, but in a tight match it's about as useless to me as a brass chalk holder cube 😉. Ohhh did I stutter, all of a sudden it got quiet as a MF'ing Elk Lodge in here 🤣 ...seriously tho, I've tried wrist bands to maybe absorb some sweat ...but doesn't help with the palms.
Soo.... wraps. Which ones works best for us out there with sweaty palms. Let's cont....

For sweaty palms, which cue wrap style?

Is it your main player? ...does it have a slight spongy feel?

I’ve had a cork wrap on my main player for the last 9 or 10 years.

I wouldn’t call it spongy, but it is slightly forgiving. Warm and absorbs sweat.

If you are getting one, just make sure you get real cork, not “rubberized cork” (basically bits of cork glued to rubber).

For sweaty palms, which cue wrap style?

way back most cues had no finish on them. and sweaty hands didnt matter too much. i dont think we had poly back then only varnish .
they even put it on most shafts up to a point. i sand it off.
Yeah ...soo more like a natural finish, similar to what we find on house/wall cues, and these never feel too bad at all with sweaty palms.
.. I've always found, if I'm having some kinda issue with a cue I'm using ...I can grab a light house cue, (18oz) pick one with a decent enough tip(usually Elks or LePro) ...and feel comfortable. Anyone else find this to be true ?
