This is a Kao Kao made cue. Black linen phenolic.

Geography might have something to do with your experience. You moved from the state where Diamonds are made to the state where Valleys are made. Not that there are no Diamonds in Texas, but…

Well maintained or new Valleys play fine, although Diamonds are better. The balls make a big difference, and from your description is a big part of the problem.


Also- depends if an amusement company does the tables or the bar.

I would think the ball manufacturer’s recommended cleaner would be the best standard, if they didn’t peddle their own overpriced/branded proprietary products.

Wow....An awful lot of people here jumping on the original poster and defending Joe when the OP clearly states that he is not bashing or making accusations against Joe: "This is not intended to bash, criticize, or make accusations against Joe Salazar or his family. In fact, this post is hardly about Joe at all...it is a legal question regarding property left with a person other than the owner for a specific purpose, called "bailment", which is then complicated by the fact that the original person entrusted with the property has passed away.

Clearly, regardless of how complicated the process of determining what belongs to whom may be and the fact that Joe's grieving widow is left with this difficult task, property left in Joe's trust does not belong to Joe, nor to his estate...it must be returned to the original owners in the same condition, unless repaired and paid for as agree to.

Any attempt by the wife, or others, to retain such property can easily be considered tantamount to theft by conversion....certainly immoral.

It’s all about the money. An upgrade to a Diamond is going to cost.
A new Diamond bar box is going to cost $6,000 +, that 50 year old Valley, cheap or free.

jam, of course he has to show the cues were his. and joes business was having consignment cues. there are many ways of doing that. if he can he should win and get them back.
