It's Been Three Months Now

I have always been a Master chalk guy - but when I get a table in my new home I will try the newer expensive chalks that supposedly leave no residue - worth a try - my son’s Brunswick Anniversary has new green Simonis and the blue Master chalk really marks up that green cloth.
Taom is not totally residue free but is sooooo much cleaner. I have plenty of Master and Triangle but am using Taom. I want to use the inexpensive and good Chicago products but will pay for Taom after trying it.

It's Been Three Months Now

It's now been three months since I ordered my Diamond Professional table. I was told 4-6 months for delivery. I was also told there's a chance it could be a little less than that.

So, I guess it's about time I started to prepare my upstairs garage apartment for the new table. I need to get a chair, chalk, balls, rake, towels, drinks in the fridge, bulbs for the light, cue holder, template, tip shaper/scuffer, glove, ball cleaner, and perhaps some other stuff.

Anybody got any thoughts on what I left out here that I might need. I want to be ready in case it does arrive early. I am thinking about making a trip to Custom Recreation in Evansville to pick up some items. Anyway, it's not going to be a pool hall. Will probably just keep the bare necessities over there.

Are you using a magic rack or any kind of template? 1 on the spot or 9 on the spot? Breaking from inside the break box or breaking from the side? Are you hitting the 1 square or using a cut break?

Has anyone else broken on your table and succeeded in getting a "runnable" rack?

I don't think it's the table...

I think you're just unlucky 😂
I believe in one of his many threads a picture was posted and he was using a template. That makes it a lot worse, or more unbelievable.
If you can’t put together a consistent 9 ball break with a template something is wrong, and it’s not the table.
But we know this and are just playing along.

Amazon perimeter style light

Perimeter light is garbage. It blinds you. I wouldn’t take one for free.
You can buy a Perimeter light with a dimmer. How is the Amazon light any different - how does the Amazon light not blind you? They both can be obtained with dimmers. Thousands swear by the Perimeter Billiard table light- I see them at all the European tournaments on TV- just asking bc I want to make a good decision myself in the near future. Thanks
