New Olhausen tournament model..................

I Googled it and Yahoo'd it. I don't see any specific pics. Lots of pics of the Champion Pro table. Can you provide a link?

And it's funny. When I took up this hobby in late 1998 I had just watched the Challenge of Champions from Uncasville, CT. It was Oliver Ortmann and Kung Fang Lee. They were playing on an Olhausen Champion Pro table. At that time it sort of became my dream table.

I went to Indianapolis to the Olhausen dealer to inquire about one. Their sales guy didn't even know who Oliver Ortmann was. So I left there and went over to the Brunswick dealer. Eventually bought the Gold Crown IV.

Did the Brunswick dealer know who Oliver was?

Pechauer Cues

You can get sharp points and inlays with CNC. It depends on the type of the CNC machine. McDaniel cues are an example, I’m sure that there are many others.

As for wording, my guess it’s ment for search engines.

And, why can't he use real Ebony? Is Ebony really that expensive to use on pool cues? He has cues that are pretty close to the $1k range that he markets as "Sim Ebony". Just seems that he is cheaping out on materials for the sake of more profit.

I know his cues play very nice though.

They do not command much on the used market though. I also know that.

Good players who do not look very good, while at the pool table, but still consistently run out.

Not sure why you associate open hand bridge with playing poorly, many pros use it and virtually all snooker pros use it.

Sorry, it is not really that. It is much more just a player with an ugly stroke, and horrible form. Basically a player who you might think sucks, up until he starts running out in you, lol.

Lathe lubricant

Silicone = Bad in the shop imo.
If by chance it gets on any woods you may have problems with finishing.
It may show up right away or down the road with adhesion problems.
I fully understand that and am a very long time woodworker and finisher my self. As to its use on a lathe bed, just spray a little splotch on a wadded up piece of paper towel like I do and you are fine. No overspray, rub the bed a few timed and wipe off. Easy peezzy, your needs or usage may vary though. I worked and retired from the corporation that makes pledge and am very well versed in the effects of silicones as to finishing.
Was just a suggestion, and also one that was recommended by the lathe manufacture that I have, and if I remember right the one that Goldcrown has, so I thought it was appropriate seeing as how that brand can have a galling issue if used wrong.

Pool Ball Collecting.

Those aren't the Romanic 1's. The number on the striped balls is in the center of the white stripe on those. The numbers here are in the center of the colored portion. The top row looks similar to Romanic 1's though. The second Pic is the set on the shelf. Just not sure who made them.
So sorry... I needed my glasses on LOL those have normal numbers, not romans. My apologies.
