A longer bridge length has advantages, but only if your stroke is consistently straight with a longer bridge. FYI, this topic is covered in detail in this video:

In competition, the only game Justin has been playing is 8ball, specifically Ultimate 8ball. I'm not gonna get excited that he beat a couple of guys (both double hill) that nearly never play eight ball. It proves almost nothing. Top 32 is nice enough, but let's not pretend that it makes him elite. His credentials in rotation pool in recent years are virtually nonexistent. My suspicion is that Lukas Fracasso Verner would jump at the chance to gamble with Justin.

Finally, I'd say Skyler Woodward is the only American who has been solid at the Mosconi in recent years, with generally solid play and two Mosconi MVP awards.

I'm a spring chicken to some here at 65 years young , while I returned to the game a few short years ago I think back to when Frank McGowan and I would play pool he'd take off his glasses to give me a chance ha ha !

He said he learned to shoot at the shadows on the ball and once you learned that he'd say you're going to do good !
No I never did win a game but it was very humbling to watch and try to learn from Frank working his way through a rack of balls , effortlessly at times .

Just writing this out makes me miss playing him a game on a 9' table !
