Time for new pool balls - Aramith Tournament Pro-Cup or Brunswick Centennial

The Aramith balls that came with our table are now over 32 years old. They are in good condition but some yellowing is noticeable. The table is an 8-foot "oversized" Steepleton Dorsey with new Simonis 860HR Tournament Blue cloth.

I am wanting to stay with the standard colors (purple 4 and 12, orange 5 and 13, dark brown 7 and 15).

I'm trying to decide between the Aramith Tournament Pro-Cup and the Brunswick Centennial balls. Both are made by Sulac SA. There are some cosmetic/design differences between the two but I am unsure if both are made using the same Aramith Duramith technology.

For those that know, are the balls the same minus the cosmetic details??

I did a search on the subject but looks like the threads were 4-6 years old.

Thanks
I have a set of excellent used Centennial balls w/3 different cue balls-red & blue dot original’s and a regular cueball. They are in a Aramith black nylon carrying case. The case has a compartment that holds miscellaneous items. I will throw in a trick cueball & eight ball. I have pictures if interested. I’m asking $325.00 w/free shipping & insurance.

Veritasium on becoming an expert

expect this to have an effect on remembering positions.
The physical performance after solving the equation separates pool from chess. When I am playing my best I am devoting every available brain cell to the execution. At the handshake, I only can recall the last shot. Even at that I had to look to confirm when my opponent said, "you shot that left handed." The decision making requires a floodlight view of the situation. Execution requires a Lazer focus on the impact to the cueball.

The way it was done with Magnus, he remembered games that he didn't even play after just a few moves. IDK if that was real or BS. If it’s real, certainly Shane would be able to do the same with a full table picture after the break.
It’s real, but I think Magnus’s memory is a bit of an abnormality even among top chess players in the world. I don’t think most grandmasters can do this, and I think that is a fairer comparison to most top pool players.

Also, chess has a discrete number of positions. Pool has infinite positions. I would expect this to have an effect on remembering positions.

Rule question Towel cloth in the pocket ?

I think shaft "sleeves" like these are commonly allowed.

That particular one is all but worthless unless you have a 6" bridge or less. They are too small. You would be better off cutting a finger out of a glove.

EDIT: I've used a bar coaster before when having to bridge on a sharp corner casting.
