If the Fargo rating system existed back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's, how many of those top Legendary players do you think would have been an 800?

I guess this is all because there are far more really great players.
That's right. The globalization of the game, especially in the past ten years, has raised the bar a couple of levels. Great players are popping up in every corner of the world.

What beginner pool tip do you wish you learned sooner?

Nothing else is needed....for a mediocre, at best, stroke with low cue power and poor speed control.

Good news is, that even if you are working around an oversimplified model of your stroke, your subconscious mind will save you from yourself and you will still utilize more than just that one muscle...which isn't even the biceps as Bob pointed out earlier, it's the brachialis, unless you want to turn your wrist over, then it's the biceps.
Whatever the muscles involved are called, my point is that nothing needs to move except the forearm. “Slight shoulder movement” doesn’t make sense to me (adds unnecessary movement), and I have no problems with power or speed.

Dynasphere Challenger Ball Set

What do you mean by, "unlike the Challenger set"?
The tolerance is the same for both sets. Also, the Challenger set is the first set to be produced on a fully automated production line. It would be hard to beat the consistency of a fully-automated line.

From the Dynaspheres website:

Challenger:
Size57,2mm
Weight169 grams +/-1,0g

Rhodium / Bronze:
Size57,2 mm +/- 0,08mm
Weight169 grams +/- 1,0 gram

More hilarity from Strickland and Sigel in Accustats series...

At the timestamped video below, Strickland is playing Sigel in one pocket and briefly comes to the table with radio earmuffs that I hadn't seen the likes of since the 90s.
By the time he returns the table he has taken them off, but it cracked me up. Noticing the date of the video was 2017 made it even funnier given the large array of options for noise cancelling headphones worn much more subtly...
