Turning Stone

Seems like the proportion of pros has decreased dramatically from ~15 years ago.
Been that way for at least five years now, if not longer. It is the same comments every time. It is a regional tour championship with a couple of pros added in. There is always the question of if many can even get in given how far in advance the event supposedly fills up. Then you got the number of pros who say they don't like how the tournament is run nor the rule set. Then you will get the same comments on here from the same guys in response who will go how the great Zug is old school and can do WTF he wants. And back and forth, and on and on.

I don't bother tuning in until the third day as the field is weak for what I want to watch.

FYI, all the tables being streamed free:

Amazon perimeter style light

I've only played under per. led's once and i hated it. i did not like the whole table area being lit up. MUCH prefer a good led box with the right diffuser to keep the table lit but not the whole room. i prefer a darker room with a lit table surface. Holy shit, we agree on one equipment related topic! :):):)

Turning Stone

Schedules have changed a ton in last few yrs plus this place is kinda semi remote/arctic. I have to make a comment about the stream: i know its a regional tour but 'trying' to watch two 650FR's shoot balls into the rail is brutal. I know its free and all that but if they want more viewers they have to put the best match available on the stream.
I had rather watch that than two >700 players walking around the table and air stroking for five minutes before each shot.
