Seems kind of bouncy to me, closer to a Diamond than a GC. Hard to say for sure unless on the table. The aesthetics are out of this world good though.
TruthI know and like many other members appreciate your willingness to share and educate us all for the better…
As a great action player and BCA Hall of Famer who moved on to produce the roughly thirty-year-old Super Billiards Expo, Allen Hopkins has a pool story that few can match.Wonderful post. Ray Martin needs some convincing to tell his story on our podcast. We are trying to get the others you mention who have not been on. Billy, Nick, Sigel and Fleming are done.
I improved from legit 525 to legit 558 Fargo in 1 year, and I think the icats system helped with that to an extent. I think doing drills helped, and I would mark them out on the table off paper diagrams. I've only had the icats for a couple of months, but they include the same drills that I have been doing and make them easier to visualize and set up.It would be great to hear from a higher skilled player who's play has improved using either of these systems. Thanks!
Technically it's a melding of 2 systems - cue and shooter. It's a 'loose fit', dynamic arrangement where there's bound to be resonance and conflict. Motts and Bottis...I used to think that too. On my home table (in the basement), I play with McDermotts with the higher-end McDermott shafts. I've always liked McDermotts. Every once in a while, though, I'll bring down a Gus to play with. I play noticeable better with my Gus. I can't explain why, but it's not in my head. The Gus just "plays better". I'd even say "much better".
