Referee John Leyman Pro Rule Change

It is not a proposed change for the WSR. And it is not any real issue for pro players. The current rule works. I suppose it's possible that CSI will implement the rule for CSI events, but I don't see any need.

Under the World Standardized Rules, a foul on the break shot is treated like any other foul. BIH anywhere for the opponent. The break shot has the additional requirement of sending four object balls to cushions, but that's not usually a problem.
How do you Know its not any real issue for pro players?

Favorite/easiest diamond banking systems.

Someone should start a list....

2:1 rolling ball diamond ratio
sliding ball system, 70% of the mirror distance
Corner-5
Plus system (AKA plus-2)
constructing a mirror target
"Opposite-3" kicking (magic spot on a pool table)
Max side spin systems
Graduated side spin system (1 tip = 1 diamond, sort of)
short, soft kick, ball close to cushion, shallow into cushion
short, stun kick, ball close to cushion, shallow into cushion
System Sid (end rail first to hit on side rail)
Mosconi's crossing line intersection construction (not very good)
Specific reference lines for special shots, such as two rails (long, head) banking from the foot spot at one pocket

Mechanical Bridge Designs

The curvature of the bottom of the V in the bridge can be either larger or smaller than the curvature of the shaft. One of those doesn't work well. Draw out a picture and I think the problem will be clear
alright, i assume your issue is that maybe the bridge is sliding on the sides of the shaft? i’m wondering, though, does this affect play? does it “wear” the shaft unevenly? What’s the issue? As i’ve noticed none, im curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks, bob

??? ... Is this a rule change or a proposed rule change? Why do you like it?

3 Month Tall Ship Voyage ahead and looking for pool halls in port...

Sounds like quite an adventure. Plenty of pool in St. Pete, Brewlands Clearwater is probably closest with 20+ 7 & 9 ft. Diamonds, Crooked Cue in Largo is good but does allow smoking, Strokers in Palm Harbor a longer trek but great room too. You'll need a car or ride share to get to all as there are no rooms close to the St. Pete port (by walk or bike). Enjoy!
Thanks for the info… St Pete is covered- sounds like I’ll do Brewlands

Towns in Florida with established halls with 9’ tables

I live in Clearwater, FL. I have 12 pool halls with 9’ tables within 30 minutes drive and another half dozen if we increase the drive to an hours. So, the St Pete area fits your ask.
Wow, I’ve been out of the game for awhile. Is there really that many around us? Never really thought about it and didn’t realize there’s that many in this area.
