Old Matches - How important is commentary?

On the newer matches, I have separate audio channels and could offer the ability to turn off the commentators, but still leave the ambient sound. I know YouTube offers the ability to upload different audio tracks on the videos that go up there.

It would be a ton of work though, and I don't think the # of people wanting this feature would make it make any sense.

PBS St Louis 2026 (Men’s World 8 Ball Championship, Mixed Doubles, Women’s Open, Bank Pool), 1-8 April, Half Million Prize Fund

What table are they playing on in St. Louis - current tournament? I heard a commentator saying it's the Predator ARC and another saying it's the Predator Apex. I thought the ARC had the gold lining pockets and the Apex had the black lining like the ones in this tournament. I note that the event description says Predator ARC is being used.

Main reason, I am asking is that the side pocket is playing much easier on these tables compared the the ARC, which I know for sure was used in Las Vegas.

Why is the APA so frowned upon?

apa does not care when teams lose matches on purpose. i recently played in a masters playoffs where our opponents did exactly that to go to the losers side where it was easier to win a trip to vegas (which they did win) league operators were talked to and aware of it when it was happening, and apa corporate did not care when they were told about it.
You brought this out of the way back machine to complain about losing on purpose 🤣

I thought I'd seen it all ...
