Dominguez vs Guama race to 50 for 80+ per side

Interesting look at wad wrestling. Thanks.
If Oscar doesn't get paid off in full again I'd kinda view him as the hunter in the joke about the hunter and the bear. I'm an Oscar fan but good people typically have shenanigans pulled on them because they expect others to treat them how they treat people themselves but that's not how the world works especially the more $ that's involved. I think both sides made bad judgements but hopefully Oscar gets paid off. If it doesn't everyone will be talking about "Don't play Guama" meanwhile a month later the dude will still be playing big sets.

Any cue makers that would consider finishing a full splice blank

Contact Kelly Peterson at www.MVPcues.com as well. He builds full-splice blanks, including 6 point full-splice blanks. He may or may not have something.
Good luck.
He just started a full splice for me in October. His level of detail and professionalism are lost in todays world. Give him a shout, he may have something on the shelf.

If you were looking to pull shenanigans you'd want to not post all of your end especially if you knew the other side would 100% pay off theirs if they lost post/no post. If you are planning on shenanigans if you lose you'd fire an air barrel and take a game when you have the worst of it without the intention of paying off in full maybe with a built in excuse the entire time. Either way the more people involved gave BOTH sides more incentive to Post everything.

The Twilight Zone episode with the "rich" dude betting he won't talk for an entire year should be a lesson for ANYONE BETTING ON ANYTHING to make sure BOTH sides POST!

Somebody said 50K was side action. Unless Dominguez covered all that, he lost tip money if that.

How many pool table can I fit in 2000 sq ft room

You need to consider seating and tables for the customers too. And the dimensions of the room too (is it perfectly square? A rectangle? Or with odd dimensions? any poles or other obstacles).

Also, square footage and room measurements in real estate are often unreliable. I’d measure every thing myself.

Further consideration is that the using minimum distance between tables will mean people often have to wait for the other players to shoot. May not bother casual players but serious players won’t love it.

A good architect or designer with CAD could probably help a great deal.

If the rails were playing different any pro would be able to tell after a few hours of play, if you didn't notice a difference until after you lost then it's just an excuse. If 30k was paid off and 50k was bet between dozens? of people on the side then it'll never get paid off if it hasn't been now. If it's the same/similar issue he had w Archer then Oscar isn't gambling on pool so much that he's gambling on whether or not he'll ever get paid even if he wins. The more people involved with the bet would FORCE you to make sure ALL of each side is POSTED, otherwise BOTH sides are gambling on pool and payment even if they do happen to win which is nutty.

Oscar should've asked the owners permission to adjust the table, now if Guama owned the table that'd be entirely different. One ball was hit a bit over pocket speed and went backwards instead of into the pocket which shouldn't happen on any 9 foot table.

The unanswered question (as far as I can see) is what Guama and his team knew about Oscar tightening the bolts. Oscar said he did it openly.

If Guama or his team saw Oscar doing this, then to me they could either demand the bolts be loosened or call off the match. I don’t think they can play with knowledge and complain later.

If Oscar did it openly but not in view of Guama or his team, I think they’ve got a point. I don’t think Oscar is cheating if that’s what happened, but I don’t think you can change the playing conditions without the opponent’s knowledge.
If they knew, they mighta just gone ahead and played through. They win, they win. They lose, they call foul.

Hard to Find the Center of the Cue Ball

After a lot of hard work put in, anytime I needed to I could focus on a dead straight stroke and deliver with zero side. Not as common as no thought at all but when I need to deliver perfectly straight I can. Let's me take advantage of the rare straight in shot that is near table length. I forget about the object ball, aim at the piece of pocket straight behind it. Anybody can hammer a cue ball straight into a pocket right? Exactly how I shoot these shots. Just aim to make the cue ball in the pocket, the object ball happens to be in the way.

Tougher tables did not help USA pros for 20 years

what sent pool into the dumps in the u.s. is the opening of casinos all over. pool players took to them in droves and keep themselves broke and out of action.

also many took up poker where you had a chance of winning more and had constant action.

the young players had internet and phones to entertain them and were more social which doesn't fit into pool.

we have had some resurgence with leagues but most of those are occasional players and bangers from what ive seen.
I think you gotta figure in the real estate nazis. All upscale.
