My Fargorate progression

Yes, we played on 2. I can't remember if 4 1/8" or 4 1/4". It was my first time using the 3D printed ball holders I made in an actual match. I really like them! Sometimes I get stupid while playing and can't count the balls in the ball holder on a GC, and especially the Diamond wire holder where there is no separation between the two opponents and the balls don't line up straight. This 3D printed rack with the numbers I just glanced at the numbers and knew the score. Also there was a text chain with my buddies and one buddy was in the room. From across the room he could see the score and was updating the text chain.

Here is that thread for anyone wondering what I'm talking about: https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/3d-printed-one-pocket-ball-rack.585586/

I like the ball holders too.

Modern snooker just celebrated a Birth Day back in 1875 in India by a bored British Officer !

And the rest is history ! Enjoy !!!

New wood & carbon fiber butt: Wood veneer over carbon fiber --- Becue's WAS

To each his own of course, but a main advantage to cf is it resists dings and scratches better than wood. Maybe this veneer is plasticized and is wood in name only.
But that is sort of my point. If you want the beauty of wood, there are plenty of choices available.
And if you want the advantages of CF, those choices abound as well.
I don't see much of an advantage to covering CF with 'fake wood'.
And no matter what the manufacturer claims in the promo, veneer is 'fake wood'.
If you want wooden cabinets in your kitchen, do you ask your builder to use veneers?

Porper linen press

I picked this one up a while back. seems to be working pretty well.

Do I really NEED a $10k table?

We have moved and the distance made transport of my 24 year old cheap furniture table more than it was worth so I am in the market for an 8ft table for my new space. Of course I would LOVE to get a top tier brand, but it's double or more the cost of the lower end "Billiard Store" tables. I am not and will never be a pro level player. Fargo just over 400. Love the game and league play, but want a good value for a home table that mostly only I ever touch.

Thoughts? Thanks for the honest recommendations.

Hi, I honestly do not know, but I can only imagine that this one, for example, for under $6k, is a very good quality table.

It really reminds me of the style of the Gold Crown Brunswick tables.
