Looks a lot like a Schon N2 variation. I think a approximate retail value today would be around $2600. Kevin Stier of Integrity cues would have more input. He has had a a few similar models. Maybe give him a call and shoot him an email with the pic.

Does top spin and bottom spin affect the cue ball's path after hitting a cushion?

I understand that using top and bottom will change the path of the cue ball after hitting the object ball. But what about after it hits a rail? I think the common saying is that, without sidespin, angle in equals angle out. But does having a lot of top spin or bottom spin on the cue ball when it hits the rail affect its path after it comes off said rail?

I know that using bottom / top on kick shots will shorten or lengthen the kick but I haven't noticed that the top/bottom affects the cue ball after it hits a rail after shooting at an object ball.

Here's an example shot where if I shoot with maximum high, it seems the angle in really equals angle out without the top spin affecting the cue ball after rail contact. https://www.chalkysticks.com/diagram/CF244cY.png

So why is it so apparent on kick shots but not on shots where you hit an object ball?

For the first time since the early 1990s, I have not watched any 2026 Formula1 races. I am (was) a huge fan, having been to F1 Indianapolis, Montreal, and COTA in the V10 and V8 eras. (If you’ve never been to an F1 race in person during those eras, you have NO IDEA just how loud F1 cars were - and, yes, I have been to NASCAR Daytona 500 watching from the hot pits, IMSA Sebring 12-hour sportscar race, the Daytona Rolex 24, and the only thing that comes close is Top Fuel, which might actually be louder but only 4 seconds at a time.)

I hadn’t missed an F1 race on TV since the 90s. I won’t pay more for AppleTV. And I am being obstinate about subscribing to WNT.

I really need to do a deep dive into entertainment/TV options.

I am and old f*ck who remembers when everyone watched the same programs and held watercooler reviews at work the next morning. I miss the days when it was simpler.

Not the results I came here hoping for.
This month was a struggle for me, probably more mentally than physically.
There were days when I felt like I could play my best pool. And then there were days when I simply couldn’t find myself at the table. I tried to push harder, concentrate harder, fight harder… but sometimes, the harder I tried, the heavier everything became.
At some point, I could feel my mental health going downhill.
But when I looked around, I realized I wasn’t the only one.
Five tournaments in one month. Long matches, long days, flights, hotels, pressure, wins and losses. I saw many players exhausted too. Everyone was fighting their own battle, but everyone kept showing up, picking up their cue and trying again.
And I respect that.
There have been many discussions and different opinions surrounding tournaments and organizations during this period. As a player, however, I also want to acknowledge something: having this many tournaments available for us to compete in within one month does not happen by itself.
Behind every event are people working, organizing, investing, taking risks and trying to create opportunities for professional pool.
Things may not always be perfect. We may disagree. There will always be problems that need to be discussed and improved.
But this sport is still fighting to grow.
Promoters, organizations, sponsors, players, media and fans, everyone contributes something to that journey. I hope instead of spending too much energy fighting each other, we can find more ways to support each other, fix what needs to be fixed, and keep moving this game forward together.
As for me, I leave America without the result I wanted, but with many lessons I probably needed.

But it sucks when it affects you negatively, and is pretty good when it works in your favour... 😂 Most people spend their lives trying to put themselves the right side of important people. The amount of times I have seen someone agree with the most incredulous nonsense, or get given opportunities thrown at them, simply for their percieved importance
