Josh had had a couple of odd misses like he had in Arizona. We may not be seeing Feijen facing Filler... we may be seeing him vs Vitaly. He's up 6-5 at the moment!
There is a u tube video where Mike Capone talks about how using expanding adhesives to fill gaps is not at all his definition of custom cue making.Joss did the finger joint back in the 1980's.
This is the Viking.

We recently saw a Schon cue factory tour, I am interested in comparing and contrasting all of what the current makers do.
Adam Musashi cues have a square core.

I have seen some "custom" makers using expanding adhesives around a core to fill the gap rather than machine to tight tolerances.
The Viking finger joint is featured in this video.

You selling these?I did a rough mock-up of a T-Shirt for Fatboy 4 years ago. If I cleaned it up, this is the T-Shirt you'd want!

True, but I didn't put the $50 in another guy's pocket and not get anything out of it.......You got to keep the balls, not the $50.
I don't have the quick change, But I have been considering getting one.If you have a quick change tool post, I use these. Easy to sharpen.

If it is the exact same cushion as Diamond then being slightly higher could be the factor in slowing them down - IDK as I am not a physics guy - but the GC 7 that I played was recently installed by a known excellent installer. It had the Simonis 860 so comparison to a newer Diamond - the GC cushion was slower on rebounds for sure.Artemis makes it, but it's not public information if it's the exact same cushion Diamond uses. It is slightly higher than the Diamond cushion. I can say that with certainty, as I measured both at the Hopkins Expo.
At least he admits it and for his sake, hearing himself say it is enough to trigger him? But then:
This caught my eye and I don't mean to bring up MC in this thread. Merely pondering if it explains him going 4-7 in MC singles appearances since covid. I may be extrapolating too hard.
Feijen is such a nice guy away from the table, but when he's playing, he always looks like he's going to stomp on his opponent's head! One of my all-time favs. The Terminator is terminating. Hope we can see him vs filler again
