Carbon Break Butt Internal?

Thanks, great information. I have never attempted a CF butt yet but your experience is pretty much what I assumed. I didn't think you could get it to 14-15oz with just heavy foam.

Working on a CF shaft for a Meucci right now. Guy wants me to match his rings on his red dot. I ran out of 3/8-16 all thread so I used a bolt instead. I cut the head off the first one but it turns out the head was about 30% of the total weight of the bolt so I left it on in the final and it got me to my target 3.7oz for the shaft and moved the balance point forward a bit, sitting at about 9". Front 6" is hollow and the rest is filled with compacted cotton balls. Still need to throw the segmented ring together but I think it's going work out fine....

Looks kind of weird but nobody will ever see it! :)

Funny pic/gif thread...

I appreciate your concern about my life blakerandy , but don't you worry , my life has been a grand adventure filled with things most people will never get to experience .
As for a positive attitude even during 7 weeks fighting cancer in a cancer Institute the nurses and Dr's commented that I was one of the most upbeat patients they've ever had and my story was featured on their Facebook website ha ha .

My treatments were done in December of 2017 I can walk in there during working hours and the Dr's and nurses still recognize me and smile ha ha !

As for those who may say hurtful or mean things to me I just smile and respond with those words of wisdom from Captain Jack Sparrow , Sticks and Stones !

Awesome cues. Hate the bumpers.
They do the job though...
Yeah. The middle cue has a simple mushroom bumper, original. That's not so bad. The new one has a simple lower profile, that's not so bad, but could be lower profile, I might get one. (Might have one or two in my bumper box.)

But the old school traditional Dufferin bumpers are like those bug rubber bumper extensions they put on European supercars in the 70's and 80's to meet federal safety standards.

I may just put something else on them. Some people think it's so important it says "Made In Canada" on them. So, I can keep them in case of sale.

They are still available anyway.

Easy to change anyway. No big deal.

The original Dufferin Glider Joint shafts are still available in Canada too. I can't find them in the US. I might pick up a couple just to have new shafts for a couple of these cues.
