Perfect Aim / THE SHIFT will be on the road again. First stop will be Phoenix, AZ. FREE mini lessons everywhere I go......5/13/2026 1st day.

I had c5 c6 and c7 fused. 11 months after the surgery I was back on the road on my first trip and got rear ended by a young lady in Rockford, Ill. I had just got done with my 5th lesson and heading back to the motel room in Beloit. That was the end of my traveling, I could hardly stand to ride in the car. Too much pain. But I'm ready to try it again.

Since then I had, heart surgery, lung surgery, right and left knee replaced, hip replaced and took seizure meds
I wasn't feeling that great today but after reading your post, I feel great and blessed.

Smoke eaters in pool halls - owner perspectives

Simple solution- If this is your house, I would tell this tenant they cannot smoke on your property, inside or outside. Of course that would need to be stated in the lease agreement.
It’s a brand new townhouse. Just built. 5 units long. I own the end unit. Neighbor owns the unit next to me. Both of us are homeowners and trying to enjoy our purchased property.

Smoke eaters in pool halls - owner perspectives

This is a bit non-pool related, but I know tons of the pool rooms had smoke eaters on the celings before the smoking laws changed over the past 20 years.

I have a new house and a smoker just moved in and smokes outside. It gets into the new house. I've talked with the neighbor trying to come up with a solution for both of us. He moved smoking spots and that has helped slightly. He is willing to try smoking in front of some sort of air filter/purifier.

Did those smoke eaters do anything? I still came home smelling like an ash tray in those smoking years, but that was with a room full of smokers. What were the brands? Were there any portable setups for a home? Does any pool hall owner have a good recommendation for home use? Thanks!

I'm looking at this "general purpose" purifier on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GCMGN8C8?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_6NKNFDZSJDQ33T2RM1KK&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_6NKNFDZSJDQ33T2RM1KK&social_share=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_6NKNFDZSJDQ33T2RM1KK&rsd=b4dthPsubhqgJ6NouIgfkFPmhJ81SBgIAGYoW4AmGG5JbNvij0zxL4QwBrj5yDHX9JG8/R/pApIiRyoFg1MVz37zvJ/joDmyw9z50OZBA4+a+A/Qe/CQJQ==&edk=AQIDAHi1lw/M8UbbSMD9ScOOFEmBMHMthHeEhqDaQYPJUAX3jQHIsDXWy0lJtuhOa2JdSs4BAAAAfjB8BgkqhkiG9w0BBwagbzBtAgEAMGgGCSqGSIb3DQEHATAeBglghkgBZQMEAS4wEQQMBkG4SeK0PUDn04vtAgEQgDubENnZTk6kaBvsfD3YtC1bM8z2OfO+NyrDPgAOIai/5oh2qU4tiGyw4SKqkibq1tG3Fl3NjPeip+5BlA==&th=1

Best Current Pool Players 70+ Years Old?

Those that claim that they are as sharp after many hours of play in their 70s as they were in their 30s are either very rare lucky birds or just not living in reality.
You can certainly (and even most likely) due to your decades of experience be a better strategic player, a better position player, a smarter player and a better defensive player at 70 than you were 30-50 years earlier.

But in my opinion, in no way are you going to play as consistently and be as good a shotmaker, particularly on the longer harder shots than you were as a young player.
