So, you believe that the equipment choice of the top 50 or so players in the world, 70 or 80% of which are sponsored by a cue company that currently does not make a KW shaft, carries more weight than the choices of former champions who choose to play with a KW shaft?

Shouldn't have trouble filling that order - a lot of poking around on here and you'll find sources (of course, depending on what "custom" means to you - specifying every bit from block of wood to finished cue, probably unlikely).
Unfortunately, the older I get the less I'm sleeping, lol. Having said that, I used to have a dream occasionally back in the day where I would dunk a basketball - seemed easy - wake up, could only jump so high, haha!
but you always got some kind of action in most any poolroom if you were a promoter.
and the top pros would in time adjust to the old conditions and be still top pros. but some with weak strokes would fall by the way side to just a good pro.
but the average decent player now would have much difficulty running any amount of balls back then as they dont have the stroke to get around the table on slow wet cloth. some would adjust.
