Your extra zero in the price towards the bottom might scare some people off: $15000
Thank you for your repliesThe GTB is an original partial George Balabushka. It was the points and handle only. The inlays, sleeve, joint, butt cap, and shafts were added to complete the cue. More "GTB" are possible except JV doesn't want the GTB marking to be used again, but that is what a Tascarella Balabushka is. I found one blank in California and three in New York. When I started my project there were 7. So several George Balabushka blanks are now sold.
My memory is not that great, one of the GTB out there was made from a blank and the owner already had the acrylic parts. The red GTB, I don't remember where the other parts came from.
The "Last Works" was an interesting offer that came knocking at my door. However it limited my possibilities. It was too finished to justify altering it to what I wanted.
Did you understand what I said?WTF. You are clueless here. Quit spewing your moronic guesses. Archer actually grabbed up some of the 'up' money and said he'd catch him later. You do know Oscar was born IN California right?Congrats btw. You just became 2026's newest member on my Ignore list. Your crap isn't worth fading.
I have a Homer clip at the beginning of the video.Again with my childish thoughts
I'm thinking of ordering a couple of wraps from Superior Cues and I can't make a decision on appearance; they all look good to me. Which is going to feel the best?
Thanks!
I think the cues of yesteryear were outstanding and, while there is no denying that cues are a bit better today. you will never convince me that the cues are a major factor in why there are so many straight shooters today. Give the players of today the cues of yesteryear and they will shoot much straighter than their counterparts of the straight pool era.The great mystery to me is how much of players "shooting straighter" today is due to superior cues and cloth vs better stroke and technique?
My best guess for when the faster cloth became the norm in world class tournament play is 1983.Does anyone know when they started using the faster Simonis and other similar cloth vs. the older nappy cloth you'd see in most pool rooms.
To a large extent, this is due to the globalization of the game, especially in the last 10-15 years. American pool is now being played everywhere, and many of the national pool federations are very well-funded.One thing is certain, there are WAY MORE great players now than years ago.
