Tascarella owners club only entire here !

The GTB is an original partial George Balabushka. It was the points and handle only. The inlays, sleeve, joint, butt cap, and shafts were added to complete the cue. More "GTB" are possible except JV doesn't want the GTB marking to be used again, but that is what a Tascarella Balabushka is. I found one blank in California and three in New York. When I started my project there were 7. So several George Balabushka blanks are now sold.

My memory is not that great, one of the GTB out there was made from a blank and the owner already had the acrylic parts. The red GTB, I don't remember where the other parts came from.

The "Last Works" was an interesting offer that came knocking at my door. However it limited my possibilities. It was too finished to justify altering it to what I wanted.
Thank you for your replies

Oscar on the Boom and Freezer podcast

WTF. You are clueless here. Quit spewing your moronic guesses. Archer actually grabbed up some of the 'up' money and said he'd catch him later. You do know Oscar was born IN California right?Congrats btw. You just became 2026's newest member on my Ignore list. Your crap isn't worth fading.
Did you understand what I said?
I'm quoting Archer on the stream 😂
Archer was the one who didn't think Oscar was American, when everyone on the stream, knew he was and was ripping archer apart in the comments because of it.

But oh well.
I'm on ignore so you won't see this message LOL

For pure feel, which wrap is best between Wild Stallion, Bison, Spanish Bull or Shrunken Goat?

I'm thinking of ordering a couple of wraps from Superior Cues and I can't make a decision on appearance; they all look good to me. Which is going to feel the best?

Thanks!

For pure feel, which wrap is best ?

Then you mentioned ''can't make a decision on appearance.

So you want a wrap that appears to feel the Best?

150 BALLS RUN Irving Crane vs Joseph Balsis 1966

The great mystery to me is how much of players "shooting straighter" today is due to superior cues and cloth vs better stroke and technique?
I think the cues of yesteryear were outstanding and, while there is no denying that cues are a bit better today. you will never convince me that the cues are a major factor in why there are so many straight shooters today. Give the players of today the cues of yesteryear and they will shoot much straighter than their counterparts of the straight pool era.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on how the change in cloth figures into this.

I think the biggest difference has been in training, which has been greatly helped by advances in technology. Today's instructors not only have almost unlimited video resources for training through Accu-stats, You-tube, etc., but they routinely videotape their students, enabling an analysis and refinement of a player's stroke that is beyond what may have been possible years ago. There are many training academies worldwide that mass-produce great pool players, and that was not the case fifty years ago.
Does anyone know when they started using the faster Simonis and other similar cloth vs. the older nappy cloth you'd see in most pool rooms.
My best guess for when the faster cloth became the norm in world class tournament play is 1983.
One thing is certain, there are WAY MORE great players now than years ago.
To a large extent, this is due to the globalization of the game, especially in the last 10-15 years. American pool is now being played everywhere, and many of the national pool federations are very well-funded.
