Seeking help for woods for a cue, please.

Interesting to note that not one of the woods I specifically inquired about were mention and that much of the focus seemed to be on the handle instead of the forearm & butt where I was thinking of using the mentioned woods. LOL

I appreciate the replies anyway, however.

Again, the decision was made to go with Quilted Narra for the forearm & butt section, with an Olivewood Burl for the handle, joint collars & butt cap. I suspect (hope, really) that the combination will be as beautiful as I think it will be. I've never really seen finished Quilted Narra (certainly not in a pool cue) though. This should be interesting.
I have something in mind almost similar like that. but mine would be an italian olivewood burl on the butt and sleeve. I'm going to pair it with a malaysian rosewood burl forearm.

Shane Playing for $500 a Game, Getting the Last 2, Giving Up the Break

that would lead to believe the table wasnt breaking well for dennis.
The break is a deceiving predictor for the pros. In last year's Reyes Cup, overall, the breaker only won 48% of those racks. The losing team only won 37% of the games they broke.

Apparently (my theory), losing control over a rack when you break dry or foul, outweighs the times you take control over the rack and/or runout.

Shane Wolford VS Anthony Meglino (Action) $216K

Lmao back in the day when we were trying to sponsor Mike Wong to the US Open :ROFLMAO: good times good times.
WHAT? I don't remember that? That was the guy that ate his ferrule with the chalk, right? I think he was local to me in the early 2000's in the Philly area (or at least came to the Open events there). He took like 10 min per shot. He was in the finals vs Eddie Abraham in a regional event at my local room in Philly, and the TD went home and left the money because he was taking so long. hahaha. How the f was he a candidate for sponsorship? hahaha
