One pocket rule

I'm down 7-0, opponents last ball is in the jaws. I make it and scratch. Spot that ball, but I don't have a ball to spot. Do I just owe a ball and he gets to shoot the spot shot?
In a situation like that, the best move is initiate an intriguing conversation while nonchalantly and confidently spotting up one of his balls.

Six Pointed Star

Yeah, I saw the links for his "build-up" drills and opened them in new tabs, but didn't watch them yet. I just wanted to go right to the star. I had a lot of trouble on it for a while, doing the first layout, then it sort of fell into place. From there, the next 4 layouts seem to build on the first and I had less relative trouble with them. I don't think I'm the favorite for any of them yet, but maybe 35/65.

Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

She now thinks the tubes will be in within the next 48 hours - must have had a lot of orders, but also must not have real time tracking of inventory with orders - no biggie.
I have spent a fair amount of time in Italy over the last five years. I was curious what part of the country these were manufactured at.
After studying Google maps I noticed that the Becue factory shares a wall with a company that produces carbon fiber products of many kinds, including tubes.
I am not a betting man but it seems likely that the company next door may be where they could get there tubes from.

Same here.
My Natural Born Naked was ordered about three weeks ago. I emailed Maggie at Becue on Monday and she explained that they were waiting on carbon fiber tubes.
Maggie thought that they would have them by the middle of this week.
My cue was supposed to be presented to me at my retirement party, that happened last Monday.

Due to the fact that the cue had not arrived in time my organization bought me a Cenergy Propel Jump cue, SVB Ghost cue to tie me over.

Funny thing is I am not a Carbon fiber or a jump cue guy:p
Having said that, I am really looking forward to playing with both cues.

Six Pointed Star

As mentioned, this is Kinister's drill and his tape "Building the 6 pointed star" takes you through the different areas of the drill before you try the whole thing.
The 9 pointed star is tougher yet.
When I was a die-hard player, I dedicated 30 minutes per day to the 6 pointed star. It will elevate your game no doubt.
I still have a pic somewhere of my old dry-erase board showing the order for all my daily drills back then.

Dominguez vs Guama race to 50 for 80+ per side

You hit on the key points. Oscar is a respectable guy and not a cheater. I have nothing but respect for him as a player, and he's always shown a lot of heart. Guama never mentioned the word "cheater" in his post, which is a very strong word. He said the table was "modified." The issue appears to be that Oscar took it upon himself to fix the rails. If he had brought it to the attention of the room or Guama's side and said it needed to be addressed, then it isn't an issue.

That part isn't even clear to me. Oscar said he did it in public, but Guama's side didn't seem to be aware of it. I think Oscar's intention were pure. He didn't cheat. He intended to fix the table. In the end, Oscar outplayed Guama on the table and there is no excuse not to pay. I'm not clear on dthat either. Oscar said some of the money hasn't been paid. Has anybody on Guama's side indicated that they don't intend to pay? If they don't, Oscar should absolutely put them on blast.
As it wasn’t Oscar’s poolroom, I’d be surprised if he had the proper tools with him and worked on tightening the rail bolts without the advanced consent of the owner/manager. If there were some missing rail bolts as he claimed there were, I would be even more surprised if he happened to have extra rail bolts with him to use.

It’s hard to fathom that a first rate poolroom like Brass Tap would have Diamond or Gold Crown tables that had missing rail bolts. That would certainly never happen when Tony Coates was the owner.
