Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

Rats - hadn't heard anything since my order so I reached out via email. Prime II's are now out of stock so they are waiting on material and hope to have some shafts made it in the next few days. I've got all winter to wait, lol, but had held out some hope it would be here for use during the holidays. I was happy with the promptness and information provided by them in response. Taking that as a good sign.

Love story about pool, hustlers, serial killers and some action. Who Am I?

I'll assume you're a good person because I prefer to assume that about people, but suggest this isn't the best way to deal with personal matters and hope you have friends who can provide support vs. seeking affirmation from strangers on the internet in this way.

If you've got some great and appropriate stories to share, maybe just roll all this back and have at it?

I was out of this, but when a post like this gets me labeled a bully, it both causes me to scratch my head a little and . . . well, I will refrain from saying anything further, other than to say the sentiment hasn't changed.

Having said that, now I know who Gary Nolan was and looks to have been a fascinating person and definitely someone who a lot of folks on here knew and enjoyed, so no doubt now bringing back good memories.

Dominguez vs Guama race to 50 for 80+ per side

I’m a little confused - for a huge $ match like that, wouldn’t all the $ have to be posted up by both sides? How could someone get away without paying? If not, that’s just ignorance and negligent to assume gamblers and their backers can be trusted to pay up when losing, especially if you’ve been stiffed before.
IIRC Oscar posted during the Archer drama about how when he played Reinhold for 40k or whatever that only 15k IIRC is actually posted in the safe, and that's how ALL these big $ matches are done. So basically all these matches are on some random payment plan?? I would wonder if this is just because each side doesn't have the total amount at the time or some other reason. Oscar seems like one of the most trustworthy guys in pool and the Reinhold match was in Louisville so I'd assume the Swords were backing him or partially in on his side as they have been in a lot of BIG matches over the past 5 - 8 years.

I personally think that any of the matches that Dunn plays for tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands are FISHY on the dollar amounts because he's barely a 600 player, minus Carl no other lower rated players are betting over 10k a set or 50k or 100k or whatever # they come up with. A match like Lou vs JB is totally believable because either one would quite likely have 10k to bet (for multiple sets) but most other people without a trust fund don't have 50k to randomly throw at a random game! Lil John's match ups never seemed to make sense to me because of his skill level and I never hear of him winning but who knows on that one!!

I'll never complain again.

There was a guy that used to shoot in one of the pistol leagues that I shot in. It was an outdoor league, we shot at a couple different ranges, and usually parked right near where the firing lines were located. In the summer, a lot of us would ride our motorcycles, and have our cased revolvers in a saddlebag for transport. So this guy was an older guy, a regular for years, long before I was a part of it, not particularly a top shooter, but came every week and rode his old Gold Wing to all the summer matches. He had some health problems, and ended up getting both legs amputated at about his knees. He came sporadically after that over the winter, mostly to the ranges with easier access and less walking. But come springtime and we started what we called the "Summer League", he was there again every week on his brand new trike. I liked him a little more after seeing that.

I hope the guy that prompted the original post here is up and back at it ASAP!

Predator Men's 10 Ball JAX

Doubles is cool.
I just think when both are pros, they don't need the little side conversation every shot. It's a time waste and breaks up the flow.
Since doubles is already slower why do you want no early 10?
I like real 10 ball too but not in doubles as a viewer.
I just don't like early 10s at all. To me it defeats the purpose of playing 10b. (Although i think if you make the 10 on the break it should count because it doesn't happen often)
Agree that it can be a bit of a slog when partners aren't on the same page, but i think that will change as they get more experience with the format. It's a lot better later on when the weaker teams are eliminated. The drop off seems to be pretty quick in dubs.
