Yep.I wouldn’t go for the short side of the nine. Since there’s nothing in the way it’s a perfect 4 rail to the short rail on the long side of the nine. Just use a hall tip of right with speed
I think as long as you get back to somewhere near the end rail there'll be a makeable shot on the 9 (probably even if you hit it). I'd concentrate on the speed and spin to get the right distance....too much running English is not good since 3rd and 4th rails are both “long” and it will reverse if there’s any left at all
Frankly, I think you could leave the cue ball anywhere in the lower half of the table (as we view it) and have a simple cut on the 9 to the top left corner.
