The Newsagent .
Time passes and I met Big Tam and he asks why are your children coming into my shop wearin St Eunan school ties ?

Me : What do you think Tam , she done a runner with the lover (Please don't tell me where your newsagents is because I might crack up , put two and two together and totally crack up .)

Just leave it and move on , mighta got myself the jail if I asked questions that day lol !

I said to my daughter what this was really all about was , where was St Eunans School , ( Where Mum decided to place our children for education )

My Daughter : There it's there Dad , it got condemned and demolished because of asbestos contamination .

Me : That will be the Council letter I got about Melfort Avenue Biodiversity Park and the Council are turning it into a raised bed community area ,

My Daughter : Yes :

Me : Show me where Big Tams Newsagents was .

My Daughter : Just at the end of the road to the left , it got demolished and rebuilt .

Me : So where was Big Tams mass held , show me St Eunans Chapel .

Me : Take me passed this street then home time .

My daughter took me shopping last Friday , next to no sleep and nothing to eat so don't ask where the strength came from but it was all about the sights to see on the way home and it's collect the Welfare , I've been so sick and ill , lets try a desk chair , { It will be paid up on the Welfare so no worries , ok ! }.

It was a football team , folded but on the pitch the football continued so about 46 years ago the elders would pull a rail off a fence and the next thing you would be sitting on the hill watching the football but there was another way , the long way to the hill to watch the football but that was the way it was done back in those days so that's were I first came to know of The Hibs !
