I am just a player that wanted to try final step shaft polish but the owner would not budge on the minimiums. I finally got it along w a glove and measle ball, the latter, which were priced relatively cheap.

I spoke to my cuemaker who has been in the biz for years, and knows everyone.... and he said that he deals with superior cues more... and that the owner of cue componants can be an "unusual" personality or a "jerk." I beleive he is a bit type A personality.

Course for my 50$ purchase was sent to me fast and I had no problems. FYI
What's going on man lost you number. Just bought a 9ft diamond pro would love to have you come and shoot
The Golf Majors 2016 .
I like a bet , especially the Golf , most of my selections made the cut in each Major but at the Masters , even though the selections made the cut I was outta luck . I got Dustin Johnson , he was long overdue a Major title at the US Open . Next up the British Open , I bet 8 players , they all made the cut , still can't believe Phil posted a final round 65 & got beat ! At the US PGA , my selections made the cut & had a chance to win . My best was Hideki Natsuyama , dunno if you seen his final round , made every green in regulation & only scored 2 Birdies , boy if he could putt . Brookes Koepka was another but how was I to know he was nursing an ankle injury . I bet Russell Knox & he was just outta a place but wins the Travellers event when I didn't bet him lol . Keep the stakes low guys and have some fun !
I heard through the grapevine that you may have a line on some decent shaftwood . If so I am in the market.

My original post was too long so I broke it into two pieces.

BTW Robert is a really nice blue collar guy. It is pretty typical in our championship matches to guys agree to a money split different than the payout schedule (winner = $1600 loser = $800). Robert told me he knew his opponent thought this was a cinch win for him and decided he would not ask him for split so they played straight up. It was a great win for Robert.

Pidge,
You are one of my favorite posters! I thought I would drop you a quick note about how your advise on "feathering" impacted the outcome of our local league championship. I am an old retired guy and love to play pool and when I read your post I realized immediately I had no idea what I was trying to accomplish with practice strokes. I started using practice strokes as you described and quickly saw improvement. During a visit to Mecca (our local pool hall is named Paradise) a good local player and friend of mine told me he was struggling with his game. I watched him a bit, he had long quick warm up strokes so I talked to him about reading your post on feathering. Fast forward 3 days and he is in the championship match against the most dominate player in the area. My buddy, Robert, destroyed him. He played as well as I have ever seen him play and easily beat his opponent.
