I have given you n insight into what it is like to exist on a Welfare check but the same can be said for people on Zero Hours contracts etc , we live in a very sick world where the rich get rewarded for failures and the poor get next to nothing to survive on .

That is the best way I can explain it , married with children but the wife has other ideas and your left alone spinning the plates , just like you did but with less money she leaves , your left to continue on less plates/money but 25 years later I'm still here . It meant I had to give up on a lot of things but what would you do ?

Religion .

It's safe for me to say I don't believe in religion but if you do , good on you ! Dad put us into the neaerst school , St Mary's and took us to Chapel but it never made any sense to me . I got asked at Primary school at a young age to memorise and read for the Sunday mass and I thought I can't say this in front of so many people because I don't believe it but it had to be done , I never said Amen when I read it out because I was too young to believe it so if your Religious congratz but I',m not !

Not to say I don't forgive or forget but I will never forget the time my Dad went to see the girlfriends folks to say he will do his best for us but the future Father In Law more or less slammed the door on Dad , yep , fast forward and Separated & Divorced etc & my dear lady ex wife invites me to go to that funeral . I said no but I will take the children some of them are too young to know what a funeral is all about , True story !

It jjust seems like the other day I typed to you about Big Tam's passing and we went to see Willie Thorne at an exhibition night at Clydebank Crucible Snooker on an exhibition night but I hardly seen him for 25 years and he passed away now Willie Thorne is ill and , my ex Mother In Law has passed away and I hardly seen any of the In Laws for 25 years when the dear lady wife decided to live with her lover . Young Darren's 20 years passing . All very strange .

Self Isolation .

PM Boris 'Bonkers' Johnson is telling us to wash our hands to the tune of the Happy Birthday song and self isolate . So that got me thinking of the days of bringing up a young family with next to no money but somehow you get by then the Divorce years and no money so best stay in then now best self isolate so I'm up there with the Yeti self isolation World Champion I guess .

I will never forget the night the dear lady wife ran off to live with her boyfriend and boom , welcome to a new life called Nonconformity to just exist and keep a roof over my head for access visits for four children and I had to learn how to walk to the left but truth is I was already walking to the left bringing up the family , just never realised it at the time .
