Big Tam .
He was maybe three or four years older than me , never seen him smoke , hardly drank , I heard he had throat cancer but got treatment and battled on , that was years ago so big Tam battled on for years before the battle was lost .

Big Tam has left this planet and I wanted to visit him one more time but he passed away and I never got the chance so it's pick a star in the sky time and there's Big Tam , he is up there etc.....

He would say to me , right so you post Snooker threads to AzBilliards Chud 'Chud was my nickname from schooldays' so keep posting , post a swinger so I did and it was a take on Emperor Hearn and O'Sullivan but Scaramouche told me off so I stopped it . Big Tam would say to me right then so post the truth and tell them how you see it and keep the people informed and I would've said yes Big Tam that is exactly what I've been trying to do .

Whoever reads what I post here remember this post ,. I heard from my daughter that Big Tam was ill and in the hospice and googled directions to pay a visit but the next thing an old team mate messaged to say Big Tam had passed . Appreciate what you have got for when things pass you will realise what you lost .

Right now thinking of Big Tam I remember he got a shop in Clydebank next to St Eunan's school so this was when my dear lady wife shot the moon to live with her lover . I met big Tam and he asked how comes your kids come into my shop wearing St Eunan's uniforms so I had to say Tam she left and took the kids to live with her lover

Big Tam had his ways and faults , he could push you to you limits and I for one knew that but I also knew that Big Tam pushed you to the limits to see what your limits were and if you could surpass them .
