Danny Kuykendal said:I forgot an incident at Hard Times in Costa Mesa with Billy Ray and myself in about 1977. At about midnight we played a game of straight pool to 100 points for a hundred bucks or so. Billy lost and had no money, and said sorry he would pay me later.
My friend Ron and I both knew that we would never collect, and so Ron told him off and called him a low-life, etc.
Billy seemed somewhat relieved that he wouldn't have to pay off.
