1st response

A couple of months ago i bought 2 cues, plain 5 pointers with veneers and with ivory joints. I do not know and will probably never know how to post pictures on here. but i can forward you an email with the cue in it. It would be the bottom cue in the picture. It comes with a soft outer case along with the standard 1x2 that ernie always uses. I paid ernie $2,000 for this cue plus shipping. I am asking $1550.00 for it. It has only been test hit. Please no low ballers nor am i interested in trades. 1st positive response gets it....mike

according to my pm box JE54 was the 1st to respond. I have sent him the picture's and if does not take it i will go up the list to the next responder. i am trying to be fair here. I am sorry that i could not answer sooner but i just made a forced move and finally have my cable/tv/computer fixed................mike

Well I hope I don't see them. I've wanted a Gina for a long time now but couldn't afford one, and missed my chance to get one at a price I could afford by a few minutes. I'd quite literally off myself if I had to see nice pictures of what passed me by.

Ginas go fast around here. Real fast. The only reason this sale took as long as it did was because there were no pictures and the seller was off line all day. If Cueball hadn't bailed immediately after the listing this cue would have been gone in 7 minutes.

It is nice to see someone that doesn't want to take advantage of a seller.

Not too long ago someone posted on the forum about a cue being sold in a garage sale. The seller set a price and the buyer paid the price asked. There were then a ton of negative things said about the buyer stealing stealing the cue. There were also a lot of comments about the buyer should let the seller know the real value

This thread proves that there are a lot of people participation on this forum who are no different.

I do hope that you get the cue, and a rep to you.

Bailed???????

The reason I "BAILED" as you put it was because of personal reasons. but i will tell you anyway then maybe you will understand. After being married to my wife of 30 years and losing her last Sept. I stuck around at the same house to watch over her 95 year old father. well he passed on Dec. 30th and on the 3rd Sunday in january i was given 30 days to move 30 years of memories. If i had not had to finish unpacking i would have been here. I feel that my reputation on here speaks for itself. I would NEVER BAIL on purpose or without good reason.....nuff said on subject........mike

Sorry to hear of all your heartbreaking news.
I'll let you know when I get the cue.

Mike,

I'm sorry that my post sounded like a criticism. I didn't mean it that way at all and I apologize if it sounded as such because that was NOT the intention. :sorry: Nothing wrong with listing a sale in the morning, heading off to work or whatever, and checking the thread that evening when you get home. I don't think anyone expects a seller to sit at his computer all day just because he has an item up for sale. I sure don't.

I only mentioned it to illustrate how fast this cue would have sold. Only 7 minutes between your OP and the buyer's post. :D I certainly was not trying to attack your reputation in any way, and if it somehow came across that way I'm sorry. Perhaps the term "bailed" has a negative connotation, but I simply was using lingo to mean that you were off-line before the buyer responded. No slam was intended. For the record I thought it was a great sale and a great buy. Congrats to both.

Please accept this explanation.

It was a very nice cue. It had a small white dot in the ebony butt. I sent it back to him so that he could send it to Ernie for repair. He refunded my money to paypal right away. I didn't know this, but if money is refunded there are no charges. At least, if paid with a credit card there aren't.
As soon as it's done he's supposed to contact me.
From what he told me he will be selling some other cues.
He was very easy to deal with, I'd do another deal with him anytime.
