Need Pool Case for Filipino "Pacman" Quickly

A good friend of Filipinio "Pacman" -- Manny Pacquiao -- wants to purchase a pool case for him and get his name printed on it: "Pacman."

He wants it to be a first-class case and needs it quickly. Though I know there are some GREAT case makers out there, some of them have a waiting list.

This person would like to purchase a high-quality leather pool case ASAP. He lives in Las Vegas.

Any suggestions on who he can call that does not have a waiting list?

My boyfriend called Mike Gulyassy, thinking he might be able to help out with a referral. He called one number, and a recording tells you to call another number. When you call the other number, a recording tells you to call the previous number that you already called. :grin-square:

Jack Justis, Jim Murnak, and John Barton would be the best bets.

JB, I can contact tomorrow morning when he is posting, I think.

Maybe I will do a Google search for Justice and Murnak's phone numbers and give the phone numbers to the Vegas guy. :)

I think Jack would be the best bet as long as ASAP is not something crazy like a couple of days or a week. If he wants it before the May 2nd Hatton fight then he should have a good shot at getting something if he orders it tomorrow I would think.

<-----can not speak for Jack just going off last few conversations about lead time.

Then I doubt he will be very happy with what he ends up with unless he wants to call Jack or Jim Murnak and make them an impressive offer. Even then I don't like his chances.

Somethings you just can't get at the last minute.
 
I just got off the phone with Jack Justis' office, and Jack is going to return in 30 minutes or so, but the lady on the phone was very helpful and nice.

Jack will be in Vegas on May 8th, but this is not soon enough, unfortunately, for the buyer.

HBO wants to film the buyer presenting Pacman with a case and a cue stick on April 27th, which is the date I think Pacman is going to be fighting Ricky Hatton in Vegas. :p

The buyer already has the cue stick, but he was thinking that getting Pacman a case with his name on it would be first class, especially since HBO is going to be filming it. ;)

I gave the buyer Jack Justis' phone number, and if they can work it out, then that will be cool. A little plug for pool during the boxing match would be kind of neato patito. :cool:

Time will tell... :)

If this is going on 24/7 ...I dunno if you just ruined that part of the show or not :p probably not though


The fight is on May 2nd. Can't wait!!!

Me too. I love boxing. The prospective buyer of the case owns a boxing facility in Las Vegas. Many of champion boxers stay at his facility and train before an upcoming match.

He really likes Pacman and wants to give him this gift, apparently it had something to do with a promise he made to Pacman if he beat Oscar.

It could be that April 27th, HBO is coming to the boxing facility to film Oscar training. They do that sometimes. :)

Here's another cute shot of Pacman. I read in a recent news article from Philippines that Pacman said this is his last fight, and he wants pursue singing! I didn't know he could sing! :cool:

Not sure what # you have for Gulyassy but he has had the same # for years. If anyone needs it, PM me as I feel if his site isn't giving out this #, there must be reason for it.

Hi Jam,

If a firm order is received by April 8, I can have the case ready to ship on or before April 22. Just have them call me the first of the week.
