Anyone heard of or know Johnny Henson?

I received a call from a friend today asking if I knew anything about Johnny Henson. He is a Pool and billiards instructor and he apparently has been called the Einstien of pool.
Please can someone let me know so I can pass the info on?
 
Johnny Henson is a good friend of mine and student of the game. Johnny has a good background in pool and is a very talented teacher.....SPF=randyg
 
Are we speaking about Jon Henson, originally from San Diego? A good player and a very smart guy. I think he spends most of his time in Thailand now. He used to run fishing boats as well.

I don't think its the same guy Jay, this guy runs pool schools here in the U.S. Unless he came back from there and decided to do this. Randy says hes a good guy then I have no choice but to believe it. The problem my friend had was he wanted $1,000 for 3 days of school and he had no idea who is is or what he has ever done. He asked me and I also had never heard of him (not that I know everyone) Randy, is he as good of a teacher as you? he says he is the Einstien of Pool.
 
Randy is too modest to answer that question.
I don't know every instructor in the country, but it is my honest opinion you would be hard pressed to find a better instructor than Randy anywhere.

Johnny is one of our students fo life. I have no idea what the "Einstien of Pool" tag is all about...randyg
 
Mark...Definitely NOT the same guy. Johnny Henson is from E. Montana. For my money, NOBODY is as good a teacher as Randyg!

Well as of this point 161 people have read this thread who are a group of pool and billiards enthusiasts and the only people who have heard of him to this point are 2 other BCA Instructors.
 
I know him from RandyG's pool school in Sioux Falls, SD (still waiting for you to return Randy). Mr. Henson was there helping instruct. He was very good and genuinely excited about the game of pool.

Happy Birthday Tanner. This year we will be in Fargo with Mike Page and his new place. Dates are Sep. 5-6-7, see you there....SPF=randyg
 
Not impressed

I know someone who took a lesson off him and was not impressed. For the amount he charges, $1000, I think better lessons could be had elsewhere
