Bartram vs Morris

ill tellem.
by the way i never said i was a champ.
let keith in his prime play i dont spell good
svb
mika
dennis orcollo
alex the pimp
ralph souq
or most of the phillip.
yes keith would give rodney morris the 8 playing 10 ball .lol

So Chris,

You never did get to see him play in his prime, so how good do you think he played? Because his best game was bar box nine ball with the big rock, and I will tell you one thing.. the guys you just mentioned all get robbed playing him that game in his prime..not even close. And and on the big table in his prime...ask Jay how many liked it. I think in his prime in on the big table, for big cash..those guys aint liking that either. The difference is Chris...he went looking for guys like that..didnt duck them but hunted them down to play them.

Hard to clock your speed Chris..8 and 9 ball in 10 ball is a big spot. Jay could probably clock your speed much better than I can (especially compared to the older players..non champs. I think you play a little better than a hustler named Billy Ray (who Jay knows)..you probably play better than he did in 9ball as he wasnt a pro but you wouldnt be spotting him anything thats for sure...Keith crushed him in his prime giving him the 6. He would have shot holes in you as well giving you the six.

How much

effren he is a one of a kind.
i will back a few players to spot parica.
do you want to back him?

How much weight do you need to play Parica now?

And in Parica's prime (and Jay could probably validate it) none of those young players of today that you mentioned would be playing him a 15 ahead set of nine ball...a couple might try him once but would get robbed and then wouldnt play him again.

I dont think any of those guys would want to be playing Ronnie or Hopkins some one-hole for the dough either.

and think i would like Buddy, Earl, and Sigel playing them all some 9 ball as well.

not the 8 in ten ball

ill tellem.

I think Rodney would give you probably the 7 ball playing nine ball, and Keith would probably have been giving Rodney the eight playing nine ball...he offered the world the eight ball in his prime.

This is actually quite sad, in my opinion, that Chris continues to put Keith McCready down on this pool forum. It is almost as if he's jealous that Keith McCready, who is a great American player, is a legend in his own right when it comes to action.

Well, Chris, since you want to throw out names, just to let you know, Keith has never played Dennis Orcollo before, but the last time he played Shane Van Boening (U.S. Open), Alex Pagulayan (U.S. Open and Joss Tour event), Ralf Souquet (Joss Tour), and Mika (Joss Tour), he was in his fifties, and guess what? He beat them all.

I wonder how you'll be hitting 'em when you hit the 50 mark, Chris.

how old is keith?
so he plays 5 balls off the way he did at one time.
because he would give me the 6 and win and now he cant win even.
is he 90?

Well, Chris, what started this whole bruhaha, for lack of a better word, is that you stated your opinion that Keith would be "ROBBED" -- that's the word you used -- "ROBBED" by Alex Pagulayan on a 9-foot table in Keith's prime. Of course, you never saw Keith play in his prime because you were not born yet.

Several seasoned veterans of the game pointed out the error of your opinon formulation, stating that Keith, in fact, was a force to be reckoned with on any kind of table.

Then, as is your style of bashing legends of American pool, you state "let Keith in his prime" play Shane, Mika, Dennis O., Ralf Souquet, Alex Pagulayan.

I responded to this ignorant statement by stating that Keith past his prime -- in his fifties -- has all of those players in tournaments, with the exception of Dennis O., who he's never had the opportunity to play against.

You can continue this colloquy about how Keith in his prime is not as good as players of today, but one thing for sure, he's generated more action than you ever will in your lifetime. Maybe that is the problem, the fact that you may be jealous of Keith's track record when it comes to action.

BTW, he never went on Internet forums or out in public asking for a spot or a handicap, like you, just to get action. He gave it his best shot and hoped for the best, no matter who they were. That was Keith in his prime.

well unlike keith i never said i was the best.
and i said alex would rob keith 6 months ago i said that 6 months ago not in this thread.
so the way you look at it i should think your putting me down by saying rodney will barbq me right.
i dont look at it like that.
but you did say that more than once.

Yes, you did say it several months ago, and you continue to speak in a negative manner about Keith.

Rodney is a world-class champion. You're a road player from Ohio who asks for handicaps and spots to get a game to generate action.

After reading your disparaging words about Keith over and over and over again, I do hope you are defeated against Rodney. Your lack of respect for your peers is disgusting.

i do respect my peers.
ask anyone who has played me just ask them.
but like i said before when called out on something i will finish.
and i have no problem with a spot from a world champ.
you say i ask for handicaps from everyone.
take the top 15 us players out then see who will spot me in the whole us.

Quite frankly, it's not worth my time to do so. I don't consider you in the same ball park as them.

You were called out when you said Keith would get "robbed." Do you remember using that word "robbed"?

Hope the rolls go your way and that you get the handicaps you need to play pool in the future. Good luck with that.

I don't think Keith ever said he as the "best of all time." At least not in my presence.

You have made your opinions about Keith McCready, an American pool player, known on this forum over and over again, ad nauseum. I think the membership understands your thoughts about Keith McCready, as do Keith and I.

Which is the reason I will stand up for Keith's good name. Pool is his life, and again, if I am the only one who defends Keith on AzBilliards Discussion Forum, then so be it. I will continue to do so, every single time you state your opinions that bash him.

Uh, Chris, I and other members of the forum have re-posted and copy-and-pasted the words you wrote about him. I don't want to do it again and again. It's water under the bridge. The damage is done -- PERMANENT damage, I might add.

You can have your opinion about Keith McCready as a pool player; Keith McCready and I can have our opinion about you as a pool player.
