I would suggest the East Coast- anywhere between Philadelphia/ Atlanta.

HAve you spoken with any of the other Brits (Crosby/ Broumpton (sp!)/ Riley) about the prospect of jumping over?

I agree with the east coast but I would probably edit the location just a tad. NYC to NC and then FL.

NYC area has 3 or 4 regional tours
PA is close enough to NYC & MD to drive to those events
MD has the Tiger tour
NC has the Jacoby tour (if I'm not mistaken)
FL has the seminole tour along with the KF cues & one other if I remember correctly.
I didn't take the time to go look these up to ensure that I'm correct so I might be off by one or two tours in the regions. I'm simply posting by memory which is the first thing to go, I've noticed. :sorry:

SC & GA are covered by the GSBT & the Viking tour but they seem to have mostly amateur events & not very many open tournaments as they had in the past.

FL would have the toughest competition (imo) simply based on the usual high calibur entrants to the Seminole & KF cue tours. NYC would be pretty stout both in competition (Robles, Immonen as regulars) and cost of living.

NC & FL are going to be easier on the wallet as far as the cost of living. I believe the competition will be better & the number of available tournaments will be greater in FL.

I also agree that talking to Tony Crosby & Richard Broumpton would be beneficial since they've gone through the process. (They both live in FL )

thanks for the replys and the comments i will try the players you mentioned, will i be able to get hold of them on here?

thanks spider i will do a video of me playing 9 and 10 ball as well, keep up the replys and if anyone willing to help me in the florida area with accomodation.

thanks lee brett

thank you black balled for your pm, i will send a pm to them see what the outcome is, anyone have alison fisher contact.

Atlanta has Monica Web,Helena,Alice Rim.Kim Davenport,Johnny Archer.Mark Gregory.

There's plenty of strong players in the Atlanta area but the majority of the tours are for amateurs only. The original poster had asked about locations that have 9 & 10 ball tours that they could play on. Assuming Mr. Brett is not an amateur player, there isn't much in the Atlanta area as far as tours go.

Is he considered pro currently?
Florida has the Seminole 10 ball, KF cue tour (9 ball) pro and amateur, king's bay (9Ball and 8 ball) amateur, and southeast open 9 ball tour.
along with a lot of great players over around the Tampa area.

To give you an idea of logistics Lee....

From New York City to Miami Florida.....ie....Northern tip of great pool to the southern most.....can be driven in about 18 or 20 hours. Inbetween the 2 you have all the places everyone has been describing on the East Coast.

New York
All the New Jersey Spots
Philly PA...<<<My area :)
DC
Baltimore
Maryland
....now you get into the south...I hope you are hungry!...great food!
North Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
then the promised land....Florida....2 days, or 2 weeks of GREAT pool players!

get over here and get it on!

I believe Alison is out of the country right now. I have here contact info though, what is it you want from her? Obviously I can't just give it out to whoever asks so if you want to PM me with what you want and I will be sure to let her know when she comes back. Sound fair?
