Blackjack, book ETA?

Some of us are waiting anxiously for your book. Any idea when you expect its release?

I am working on this book every day - it shouldn't be to long. Last year, due to some health issues, I had to put everything on hold. Over the past few months I have been working hard to get the book finished. I have some previews that I will be putting out in a few days - I am sure you won't be disappointed.
 
Me too. I am looking forward to this one as much as I did Jay's wonderful book. Sign me up!

As always, whatever you come out with will be first rate....

Thanks my friend! I was up at Bank Shots in J'ville the other day - we missed seeing you - I did see Elvicash who was in town playing the KF Cues Tournament... I showed Dana some of the finished work on the book - and he challenged me to get it done in the next two weeks. That;s kind of pushing it, it depends on a lot of factors - but it should not be much longer.
 
let it be four weeks but no misprints, lol. Double check all the diagrams, as well as respective comments. There is no worse thing in a pool instructional than a misleading or confusing image/comment.

It happens, but not to worry.

The book will be reviewed by three 3 world champions prior to being available. I am having them review the material for accuracy and clarity of the diagram descriptions. They will be my editing and approval team.

Glad to hear you have been out and about amigo....

Ahhh, Bank Shots.....I miss the Sunday tournies....the big tables were always kept in great shape, and the chicken salad was the best :D

I have no doubt the book will be more than expected....good luck and keep us posted....

One thing to consider - you might take the same approach Helfert did, take the first 200 or so, number and sign them.....I'd love a signed copy and I'm sure a number of others would as well....just a thought....

WOW :eek::thumbup: For sure raises the value (being great even without that) sky-high. Don't tell us any more detail David, or we gonna make you in a hurry too.
 
I saw Blackjack when I was down in FL. He was showing me some of the straight pool book. His diagrams looked good, we were in a pool room so I did not get to look in depth but I am pretty excited, will definitely be buying a copy for myself. Looking forward to it for sure.

Blackjack thanks for all you do for pool.
 
Just a bumpidy, looking forward to the new book, less than a month (fingers crossed :D)
 
I'll take copy number one if Corvette hasn't already locked that one up like he did with Jays book lol.

Any copy would be fine actually, but might as well ask.
 
no, no numbered copies please :D Okay, if any, I'm in for a symbolic #141. Signed it should be for sure, whether numbered or not :) :)
