Hello boys and girls,
I would like to join in this way even imagine.
My name is Wolfgang and I come from Germany. In my childhood, my father started working with leather and I started this work after i stopped smoking last time. So i had a lot of time for this hobby :)

That is some nice, unique work, glad your here to share. Az has provided us a world stage to partake in the special talents of those as we see fit. Thanks guys, it is a real treat!

Congrats on the nice leather work and quitting smoking.

I really like that Celtic knot border with the shaded area shown below - very creative.

That caught my eye too! Very nice detail. I'm sure you could get some orders from some AZ'ers. Very nice work

Hello,

Really nice work. Like I said on the leather working forum I am glad you liked my custom ring holders enough to duplicate them. These are the ones we did for the Doc case - took me a couple days to get them just right and lots of revisions. I think that they fit well with my decision to lace up the side and make the ring holders part of the lacing.




Hope to see more from you in the future. I already see a few of your creative things that I'd like to try. Welcome to the cue case making fraternity.

Welcome. I'm sure your cases will be welcome too! Unique tooling that is very creative/inventive. I like the look of the laced on pockets also. Beats rivets for looks.

I also like the lacing on JB's case. I don't like the look of rivets but on that case I don't notice them much.

To the OP, welcome. Some unique cases there.

John,
I really like the concept of the "ring holder", but doesn't it force the top of the shoulder strap to far down the side of the case for a comfortable fit on the shoulder?

I´m glad to hear such words from you and surely I am inspired of your wonderful work. It cames from a master of case building :thumbup:

Nice idea that the handle and the strap holder is incorporated into the seams. I like it, and sewing on the site also.

Thanks for your comment catscradle i´m glad,

i dont like the rivet- cowboy style to. I also do not like it when the whole is too crowded but i thinks It's purely a matter of taste fortunately :thumbup2:

On this case it didn't. Because the case is smaller and lighter it wears comfortably.

It wouldn't hurt to move the strap retainer up a little though. In retrospect I could have made a double ended part that was able to hold the big o-ring on one end and the D-Ring on the other. That would have saved some space and allowed me to move the strap up a little higher.
