Just watched a match with her and Ewa from 98, she plays pretty sporty. She was in the finals and took it down hill-hill, closing it out with a tough combination. This was my first time seeing her play and now I know why she is in the HOF. :smile:

Robin Dodson - triple tough - triple intense competitor that exemplifies class in the world of pool. She is very deserving of being called one of the greatest players of all time, IMO.
I just turned it on. I recorded it on my tivo this morning. 
did you guys know that her son is Drake bell from the disney sitcom drake and josh, its on multiple times a day... kinda cool
I was her sparring partner a couple of years ago when she was preparing for the initial IPT eight ball event.
I was very impressed with her abilities even after a good number of years in retirement. After a couple of weeks she recaptured her touch and ball pocketing skills.
I believe that if she returned to competition she would still win tournaments. But she told me that all that was in the past for her now and that she was happy with her business and keeping up with her son Drakes career.

Thanks for the recap...I watched the first two semifinals....Ewa vs, Gerda, and Ewa vs. Helena.
All three played so BAD that I had no interest in watching the final. The thought that kept running through my mind was: "These people are PROS?"
If that's the case, I'm one sex change away from greatness...
I always liked her intensity. I wish she'd stop running raffles and pick up a cue and drill somebody
