The forearm of this Zinzola was said to be Brazilian Rosewood.... I'll try to get some better pictures of it tonight.

Here are some pictures of my Tony Zinzola cue with brazilian rosewood.
These 2 pictures probably bring out more of the color and grains of the Brazilian rosewood.

Brazilian Rosewood Cue(s)

Here are pics of BRW cues in various stages of completion. The majority of them have what is called "swirly BRW" which is cut from the lowest part of
the tree giving it the swirly look. The two cues that are a set have curly in the forearm and butt sleeve and standard BRW in the handle. The second from the bottom has a segmented "Dragon Skin" handle. All are sold. All these cues feature full length PurpleHeart cores. I do have enough swirly BRW left to make two more cues if anybody is interested. I also have a good supply of beautiful old growth BRW as well as at least 12 other species of "rosewoods". Thanks for looking.

The elusive BR.......

True Brazilian Rosewood (dalbergia nigra) is one if the most sought after and admired woods in the world. Becoming extremely hard to find and locating pieces that are not cut from stump wood has also become a challenge. Occasionally a rare piece such as this will pop up and I find it very difficult not to mortgage my soul to own it! An absolute pleasure to work with and the treasure left behind after removing all the dust makes it all worth the end result. Enjoy............
