german cushions on GC

If it's Artimis intercontinintial then no k66 yes plus add wood. As for Claybear and some other french and European rubber I bilieve you dont either, but I have Claybear in an Anniversary and it plays perfect cost around $350 before shipping from overseas.

I think that name might stick....

IMO - dipshit is a more appropriate name for someone that insists on head games and stupidity.

Consider
- any cushion mfg, to include those in germany, makes them to standard profile sizes
- if you use the correct profile on a GC no need to change the bevel
- what's the point of this thread?

Just throw out the names and profiles of some of the German rubber or others and we'll just do a checklist for future reference for others that will be asking this in the future again anyway.
Yes if you want it to play right with the wrong rubber, no if you want it to play right with the right rubber, and no if you don't care if it plays right or not as long as it has rubber.

I think some of these posters are looking for trouble with the name calling and insults.... very unprofessional imo.

If everything in the mechanic's section was strictly "Professional" this would be a dead section on AZ...as if I was strictly "Professional" I wouldn't give out all the information that I have over the last 3 years or so for free;) therefore nothing would be talked about here....kind of like it was when I first joined:D dead! Sometimes conversation...work wise and in funnnnnnnn...can be very entertaining, I know I have a blast with OTLB, and if it wasn't for the "Cobra"...who would OTLB have to joust with....you?:D And just to make a point clear, I don't believe there's ever been someone "banned" from the mechanic's section of AZ, now they may have gotten band from another area on AZ...but not this section! We're like family here:D as I can dissagree with what someone posts, but still like that person anyway. I'd work with OTLB without a doubt, and have no problem doing so, in fact, when I get the chance to do so...you can bet I will:D

oh lord...:speechless: Here we go again....

Choose:
German cushions on a GC - do you need to change the bevel
Chinese cushions on a GC - do you need to change the bevel
British cushions on a GC - do you need to change the bevel
Pickacountry cushions on a GC - do you need to change the bevel

I'd expect a thread question like one of the above from an inexperienced newbie.
A country of origin has nothing to do with a brand and cushion profile. A proficient mechanic knows this.

Let's talk MSDS. Little difference between 3M77 and 3M10. What glue doesn't have an odor?
Both are hazmat as are any contact adhesive so what's the option for installing cloth on unlined slate. 90 mph tape?
Maybe everyone that plays on a bar box should get together and file a class action against Valley for using glue.

It's not about here we go again or can't we all just get along.
If you look at all "green in his avatar" posts and how they go off-topic you can start painting a picture.

Nothing wrong with some fun here but let's notice the difference between posting to contribute
knowledge vs. intentionally and continuosly posting dribble.
All IMO.

Disagreeing is one thing .......name calling and insults are another especially when the one on the receiving end dosnt like it......must be the effects of the glue

If you understand the bigger picture (post count, rep, etc) as opposed to a few threads of disagreement you might rethink your opinion. Further, if you choose to participate in a forum and your posts are 180 off the conventional wisdom then be prepared to get flamed.

Flame on brother......if you were any kind of supplier you would have the MSDS sheets for the glue you sell posted or available on your website. If you do have them available, then my apologies and you can email a pdf of them to lkovach@gmail.com

FYI we have always had MSDS links for 77 and 10 on our site map (http://www.poolfelt.com/sitemap.html) due to requirements by government customers and some corporate customers.

When you're not bouncing around the rest of the forum I'm sure some of us would look forward to you sharing some of your expertise working with pool tables.

On the receiving end? Are YOU OTLB in disguise? Because I don't think it's up to you to speak for someone else...is it? If you want to know the truth, I think your avatar speaks for you loud and clear, brain dead...from the waist up:D

Glen

PS. What is it you do for a living again?...because being a mechanic on pool tables has been half my life, how long for you?
