Here it is Monday night again. Not a pool stream in sight, not even anything resembling pool!(I have to admit I can watch Pat Fleming's game show and find it entertaining)

How can you all be so inconsiderate as to cover every other night of the week, sometimes with a handful of streams, and leave out Mondays when I am suffering from serious withdrawal after watching streams all weekend?

You keep this up and I may have to quit watching for free the other six nights! Come on guys, can't somebody get something going Monday nights?

Please?

Arrrghh! I need a fix! (I may have to take up caroms, they broadcast 24/7 I believe)

Hey Hu, I have a great idea!!!!!

Malarkeys in Tacoma, Wa. ( pool room where I play) has Manday Mondays. All men get free pool all day and nite, and half off burgers.
Just sayin :D

I have a friend in Redding I haven't seen in awhile, a quick right after driving a couple thousand miles and I'd be at your room!

For me it gets even worse. I've played and loved pool for 50 years. Try as I might, time and time again, I just can't bring myself to watch 9 Ball.

I could watch 1pkt or 14.1 (or even 8 ball) 24/7, but I can't deal with 9 ball.

Guess it goes back to childhood. When I was in art class I hated the paint by number sessions. I like freehand creativity and these streams are even rarer. :(

The week end was a blast. After all these years I got a table at the house a couple of months ago and with all the live streams going on I have a projector for the live stream (appx 6'x8' display area) 36"tv with muted football and a muted 32" with nascar race, practicing all the while so that I can be a "better" no playing chump. Who says old guys can't multi-task. I won't move a frig upstairs, that way I get exercise going to get pops.:grin-square: These live streams are way cool...

I used to hear the same sentiments in the room I came up in. Don't get me wrong, I'm a hard core 14.1 and 1P player, BUT rotation games played at the highest level is anything but paint by numbers IMO. Watching Earl, Efren, Alex, SVB, attack a rack, then watch Hopins, Sigel, Varner etc.....I can see the genius in what they do in their own ways. There was a time I HATED 14.1.....so easy....why can't I run a rack? :) now it's my 2nd fav game behind 1P

That sounds like a great "play room"!

I do admire your dedication to physical fitness but do be considerate of your wife too, holler at her to bring you a pop now and then so she can get a little exercise too. :grin: :grin: :grin:

Gerry, its not that I don't want to like it, God knows I try to like it, but I just can't seem to. Now 4 handed Chicago games we call 1 and 5 or 1 and 3 .... shoot I could play them all day and night. Dunno what it is, but when pool is on TV and it's 9 ball, much as I love the game of pool, I just can't get interested in watching it.

When I really think about it, if it were pushout, without jump sticks, I could enjoy it more. Oh well, good thing for the DVDs. :)
