BC, as bad as Arties communication skills are is as good as a person he is.

Artie never went to school, he was raised in the carnival and thats where he got his education, so pardon his inability to communicate.

It's also safe to say that you can pick any 10 people on this forum and add up all the money that they have won gambling, and then add up the money he has won gambling, and it's a good bet that Artie has won more than all 10 people combined. I'm not trying to make a point that he has a lot of money (which he does)but what I am trying to establish is that he will definetly gamble, and bet higher than almost anyone that we both know.

It's also true that he has an ego, and money to boot, and gambling with that type of a person can be very rewarding, or disastrous, and you will definetly get an adrenaline rush. If that's what you're looking for.

He really hasn't played in over 25 years and can't pocket balls with any consistency. Matter of fact he rarely shoots at his pocket. He played about 30 hrs of pool in Galveston and his speed is ascertainable. I'm trying to present the facts as accurately as I can in hope that there might be a better chance of action. I feel both of you like action and I hope that this will help you understand a little better whom you're dealing with.

I think he plans to be at the next DCC tournament, and chances are that if your there you will be able to watch him play, that way you can gauge his speed for yourself.

Let's make the next DCC tournament a memorable one, for action people

You all would have a better chance of seeing Barney Frank in bed with Ann Coulter, than being able to beat Artie out of his money gambling. If he plays, you doubters can win mine too.

So you are saying that he doesn't gamble. I have no doubt that he will only play if it is a lock. Go get him and Bucktooth to yap at each other.

Ahh, but who knows when it is a gamble?

This ain't your first rodeo, ain't Artie's first either. You both have the dollars, odds are that you both will walk circles around each other for awhile and neither of you ever pull the trigger. Y'all would do better to team up.

Naw, that aint so

Not true, Billy. Let me reiterate. What I mean to say is, if the game is close he will rob the other guy. If he has a little the worst of it, he will still get the money. If the other guy has the nuts, the other guy will do well to break even. I must admit that I am jealous, but unfortunately that is the reality of his situation. When he plays, people do not ever play their speed against him.

You are right about Bucktooth, but wrong about The Speller.

Freddy it sounds to me like you would prefer Artie not get any action at all. Or am I just reading you wrong? Just don't see how anything that you've said could generate any action.

All that old man has to do is make fair game and flip it.

i will say it agauin,

I know Artie real good, he is very very smart, he has won more $$$ gambling than 99.999999% of the people in the world. He aint the best at communicating on a forum-dont understamate him. He is a good guy and has deep rescources for the right game, betting $100,000 on a game aint a thing for him. I'm telling you this not to interfer, but I know you and him. Its easy to get a bad read on Artie on a forum because while he was learning his hustle we were taking spelling tests in school.

i'm not picking sides here, or getting involved. I just want peoiple here to understand that Artie is a complex, brilliant, gambler and a stand-up guy. he ius rough as hell around the edges, so let that go. Artie reminds me of my dad thats why we get along.

Then tell him to flip it. He made a game and I said yes. I really dont care if he has the best of it. As long as nothing shady is going on, I really mean all he has to do is flip it. I don't think Shane can win. If he does, we will pay off and go drink a beer and Shane or you can buy. No big deal.
